Lulu is a princess, coming from the royal family of Britain. She's used to high class, good crowns, people worshipping her every move, and guards watching her like a hawk. But one day, during a stroll thro...
My mother knocks on the door and walks in as I'm brushing my hair.
"Hello darling, what are you doing today?"
She asks and I finish styling my hair. I turn around.
"I was planning on a walk through the garden for a little bit and then head to the office to help."
My mother nods her head and says
"We need extra help for the ball. It's going to be next week and we have only covered half of what we need."
"Ok, mother I'll go for a quick walk."
She nods and heads out of my room with me following her. She heads towards the work office and I head towards the big brown double doors that lead to the garden. I walk through the bushes and dance around the fountain. We also have a maze attached to our garden which is made out of shrubs.

I stand on the entry line and then start running into the maze. I've practically memorised the place. Ever since I was little I've played in here. Me and my brother James used to play hide and go seek with each other. I run around one last corner before I reach the centre.
There's a little shelter area with a swinging seat. I sit down and rock myself, forwards and backwards. Soon I'm high enough or see the castle. I let free a little laugh at how calm and relieved I feel. I swing myself back to base and notice it's time to work.
I head out of the maze and see my brother entering. I hide behind a corner and pulled out my phone. When he's close enough in front of me, I jump out and scare him. He shrieks and clutches his chest. I laugh at him. But this laugh isn't small. I'm hysterically laughing. Falling on the floor, clutching my stomach.
When he gives me a glare I slowly get up and my laughter fades but a gigantic smirk is plastered on my face instead.
"You're such a girl"
I say and mimic his screaming. His face turns into an embarrassed expression. I turn off the recording without him knowing.
"Please don't tell anyone about this"
He begs.
"Hmm, I'll think about it".
With that I stroll out of the maze towards my room so I can clean up. 'I can use that as blackmail' I though to myself. I was one evil sister.
When I change into my outfit, a baby pink lace tank top, light purple skirt and a beige laced cardigan, I head towards the work office.

When I get there I head towards my parents and greet them. We make small talk for a while then I grab the sheets and sit in my work area. It's half the size of a normal room. It has a beige desk, with a navy blue spinning chair, a bookshelf, a separate mini room which is the bathroom, a couch, a coffee table and a spare desk for unorganised papers.
I sit down on the chair and grab the papers. I start reading them off slowly by slowly. I get through all the sheets and do what I have to do. There's only one sheet left and I read it while slowly drinking from a bottle of water.
Dear: The royal family of Brittain.
I am disgraced at such a thought of having a ball for this reason. Who may I ask shall even think of thanking and honouring the workers of a break, and not just a break but a ball! A ball?! For servants and maids and chefs! Are you out of your mind? This is a disgrace to your kingdom, and to think that I would allow my daughter to marry into such a disgraceful family.
Im not sorry to say that I'm cancelling the marriage arrangement. I cannot have my daughter, Princess Arriane, to be in a family who slacks off. You might say that what you do isn't slacking off but being kind. Well it isn't. Being kind consists of them working hard and earning their money, not throwing a ball. Instead of earning it, they're losing it by buying clothes for the ball.
Do you not understand the issue here. My daughter must grow old in a stable family and I'm ashamed to say it's not yours. So by all means continue with the ball but my daughter will be no where near your son, Prince James.
Signed: The Royal family of France
I re-read the note over and over again until I practically memorise the letter. What?! My brother had an arranged marriage? Did he know about this? How could I tell this to him? But it shouldn't be a worry since its been cancelled. I think I should at least tell mum and dad about it and confront them.
I storm up to my parents with the note tight in my hand.
"What the hell do you think this is? Arranging my twin brothers marriage! Does he even know about it? You know what. I don't think he does. Were you even thinking of telling him? Have you ever thought of asking your son if he had feelings for someone else or didn't want to go along with it? No because you don't care. If you were even thinking of telling your son it's not even worth it, since its cancelled."
I scream at my parents. They stay silent the whole time staring at me then the note then back too me. My mother breaks the silence by saying
"You weren't supposed to see that. And I do care. It's just that we had to do it for France to still be in the alliance with us."
"An alliance? An alliance!? You put work above your own children's happiness?! How could you?"
"Honey it's ok. But I don't understand why they would cancel it. It could've helped us a lot. And darling I was gonna tell your brother when the time was right, but there never was a right time."
A knock silences us from arguing even more. My brother walks in with a sad and angry face.
"You were going to tell me what?"
