Forever Mangled - NatePat

Mason's POV:

"YOU IGNORANT FOOL!" I yelled in Nathan's head as I began to try to take him over again. "I warned you! Why couldn't you just listen!?"

"Please, I'm sorry." he sniveled out to me, fighting my control with all he had.

Nathan began crying in his mind as Matt started to try to unlock the door. Little did Matthew or Nathan know I had hidden the key to the final lock.

I tried to break free of the handcuffs but Nathan was still in control of that part of his body.

"Sorry isn't good enough Nathan!" I scolded. "And to think...I tried to be nice to you! I LET YOU COMFORT HIM! You KNEW both of your fates! I'M in charge here! My brother WILL live again inside your friend! But now, Matthew's spirit will be harder to break. He's in a 'fight or flight' state! He wants to save you BOTH! His adrenaline is pumping fast Nathan so I now have no choice but to BREAK HIM PHYSICALLY!"

"No! Please no!" he begged, knowing exactly what I meant. "Don't do this Mason! Don't become the evil that made you what you are!"

"It's too late for that Nathan!" I yelled back. "My brother deserves to live! He needs me to take care of him! You and Matthew's lives are perfect! He'll never want a day in his life! He won't go hungry or live in fear of homelessness! But NOW, you've made it MUCH HARDER! NOW, Matthew must truly SUFFER for your mistakes! He has to SUFFER far worse then you did!"

"Why!?" Nathan yelled back. "Why must Matt suffer!? 'His adrenaline pumping to hard!?' That's bull and you know it Mason!"

I cackled loudly as I felt Nathan losing his strength and myself fully begin to gain control.

"Why WOULDN'T I want to make Matthew suffer? Why WOULDN'T I want to see him in tremendous pain and agony!?"  I asked Nathan. "He's been nothing but a nuisance since I took him! It's not just me HAVING to hurt him to make my spell work.....it's me WANTING to hurt him! You've both made this so much harder then it had to be! If only you'd just given up from the start! This all would have happened much more smoothly. But I guess that's too much to ask of you guys, hm?"

Nathan remained silent as I kept laughing manically in his head. I could feel his defeat as I felt my soul become one with him body again.

"Oh and Nathan," I told him, finally seeing how Matthew was getting nervous over 'Nate's' state. "To what you said earlier. I've learned that being evil is much more fun!"

Matt's POV

Nate's body continued to shake and thrash around as I ran up to the front door. I began unlocking all the locks that went down the front door. I finally got through all the locks and went to turn the knob. When I tried to open it, it wouldn't turn. I tried for a few times before I began yanking on the door hard, using all my strength to get the door open.

"Nate, where's the key to the front door!?" I yelled out as I began to run around the living room looking for the keys.

I got no response from Nate. It had become oddly quiet. I slowly turned to look as Nate and saw that he was still sitting on his knees. He was staring at the ground with a blank expression on his face.

"N-Nate?" I questioned, slowly approaching him. I kept my guard up, knowing Mason may be in control right now.

Still I got no response. I got down on my knees as put my hand on his shoulder.

"Maybe he was able to fight Mason off." I thought. "His body may just be in shock."

As I thought this, Nate began to giggle, his face scrunching into an angry smirk.

"Matthew, didn't you hear him?" 'Nate' said, quickly grabbing my wrist hard as I gasped at the sudden grip. "Run!"

Mason was back!

Hello Mystical Creatures!

He's back guys! Mason isn't giving up that easily. But will Matt be able to get away? That's what we'll have to find out next week.

Sorry it's a short chapter guys. School's had me super busy!

But, what's even scarier is that, believe it or not....this book is approaching the end. Now don't worry! It's not ending right away. I've still got at LEAST 4 more chapters planned out, but it become more if I wanna extend the ending I have in my head...we shall see!
