Mrs Hudson was stood in front of you with a questioning look on her face.
"Mr/Miss Y/L/N? What are you doing here?" You gulped subtly before replying.
"I'm er-here to see John if I may. He is here isn't he?" Mrs Hudson nodded and smiled at you brightly.
"Yes he's upstairs with Sherlock. You can go right up, I'm sure he'll be pleased to see you."A small nagging voice at the back of your mind doubted that this was the case but you grinned back at her nonetheless.
"Thanks Mrs Hudson." You trod lightly up the stairs and knocked gently on the door to the flat. The sound of the violin that had been playing previously stopped abruptly and Sherlock's voice called out."If you're a client go away; I'm busy." You rolled your eyes at his childish behaviour and stepped in the room to see John on his laptop and Sherlock glaring over at you. John twisted his head to see who'd come in and was evidently surprised to see you standing there awkwardly.
"Y/N? What are you doing here?" You gave him a wry smile.
"I texted you to see if you were doing anything and you told me you were on a case. I came over because I wanted to talk to you before you left but it appears as though that isn't a problem."John's face fell a little.
"Y/N I-" you put your hand up to stop his apologies.
"It's fine but next time I'd appreciate that you tell me if you've got a problem with me instead of leaving me to figure out what I might have done wrong."He frowned, stood up and walked over to you, his face twisted in confusion.
"What I don't understand Y/N, is why you insist on hanging out with me all the time. You're just constantly bugging me. I can't spend all my time with you." That was the last straw.
"But you don't spend all of your time with me! In fact, we haven't spoken in at least a week because you've been ignoring me. I thought we were friends! Obviously I made a mistake."You spun on your heel and marched out of the door, slamming it shut behind you. Mrs Hudson was walking up the stairs with a tray of tea looking increasingly worried.
"Y/N? What's happened? Aren't you staying?" You shook your head sadly.
"I don't think so Mrs Hudson. I don't think I'll be staying for a long time." With that you slipped past her and were out of the front door before she could ask another question.
Moriarty:
You cocked the gun in your hand and held it against the man's temple. He let out a small whimper and you couldn't help but scoff at him.
"Soooo, any last words?" He glanced at you out of the corner of his eye and scowled.
"Go to hell." You sighed and pulled the trigger. The man's body hit the floor with a thud, blood trickling from his head onto the ground."I'd been hoping for something original but whatever." You gave the lifeless man one last kick for good measure before exiting the room to find food. Shouts could be heard in the corridor but this wasn't unusual. You arrived in a small canteen and grabbed a sandwich from the tiny fridge.
A few people were milling around but not too many. A hush descended on the room as your boss, Moriarty, wandered into it. His shark eyes travelled over everyone as they froze, waiting for something to happen. Finally, his eyes alighted on you and he began to make his way across to where you stood.
Everyone else in the canteen took this as a sign to carry on with they were doing. Moriarty pulled back a chair and sat down in it lazily. He signalled for you to sit with him so you did so. It wasn't like you could refuse him.
"Can I help you Boss?" Moriarty gave you his signature smirk.
"Probably." You gave a small sigh and cleared your throat sharply.
"I meant is there any work I need to do?"Moriarty waved his hand as if to push the suggestion away.
"Not at present. I only came to see if you'd hacked our good friend Mycroft's computer files yet?" You frowned in confusion.
"I didn't realise I was meant to. I only just finished with a man downstairs." Moriarty's eyes went hard and turned almost black.
"It though I told you to leave him and hack Mycroft. Or are you getting slow? I hope I don't have to dispose of you. That wouldn't make me very happy."You stood up quickly.
"I'm telling you sir, I never got any orders to hack Mycroft's files, only to take care of the man brought in earlier." Moriarty's smirk had vanished completely as he too stood up and began to circle you. By this time everyone else in the room had quietened down to see their Boss in a foul mood. Many of them got the message and immediately left the scene, not wanting to get involved. Soon only you and Moriarty were in the canteen.
"Mr/Miss Y/L/N, you've been working under my authority for some time now and I would hate to get rid of you. However, if you continue to not follow my instructions I may have to."This made you more determined and you glared at him.
"I'm telling you, I did not get your instructions." He let out an angry breath and stepped closer to you.
"You will not speak to me in this way." You glanced over to the fire exit doors cautiously, judging the distance. Moriarty didn't notice this but leaned even closer to you.You took your chance and ran as fast as you could towards the doors behind you. Unfortunately for you they were locked and you had no time to run to the main canteen doors as some of Moriarty's men were approaching you fast. As one of them raised the butt of their gun you looked straight into Moriarty's eyes.
"I would never lie to you." Then your vision began to fade as the gun was brought down sharply onto your head, rendering you unconscious.
Hallo, I hope you enjoyed that. It took quite a while to write and my hand aches like hell but who cares XD Anyways, I'll see ya soon!

Sherlock Preferences (DISCONTINUED)
FanfictionPretty self explanatory to be honest XD I'll be using the characters: Sherlock, John and Moriarty but if anyone requests another character then don't worry I'll try to add them in. I don't own any of the Sherlock characters as they are the original...
