I stayed up probably all night, watching the perimeter. Maybe it was the wind. Maybe it was my mind playing tricks on me, trying to get me to sleep.

By the time morning came around I'd circled the perimeter over two dozen times. Just as my eyes closed the light of morning came, stretching over the mountain and weaving through trees.

It scared away the darkness, leaving behind light and hope. The black sky was replaced with the different shades of orange and pink.

Then it all went back to darkness.

'There's been a time when I was able to tell what would happen in these things. It was a short time, yes, but it was a time. A time long ago.

For whatever reason I thought Caleb would be the one to come and visit me. I thought all this was a trap. Trusting him, letting him get close.

Then the empty black halls were filled with the echo of a whistle. Curiosity filled me as I continued down the hall. It opened up to the field.

The all too familiar field that I'd been to to many times came into view. Only snow didn't cover the ground. Dust and blood didn't stain the ground.

Flowers and plants filled the field A girl stood in the middle of the field. A girl I knew all to well. She turned from the flowers and looked to me.

She had the same devilish smile as the last time I saw her. Her blood red eyes locked with mine as she pushed her hair out of her face.

"Hey there Luna." She said, giggling a bit after it.

A light breeze came through, making the flowers dance to an unheard song. I couldn't tell what the song was. I don't know why it's Chara. I couldn't even begin to decide.

The song of Death? Hope?

"Hey Chara, I would say nice to see you but you know..." I trailed off, still taken back by the fact that flowers covered the field.

"Yeah, you know it's a beautiful day out side." She said, walking away a bit. "Come and sit, listen to the birds singing." A bench appeared out of thin air in the field.

She sat down and patted the seat next to her.

"Come on, we can watch the flowers blooming." She spoke, no venom in her voice.

But I already caught on to what she was doing. She was quoting Sans. Regardless to what I know, I go and sit next to her.

"It's on days like these I ask you a question." She spoke once more, looking from the field to me.

"Do you remember the song you sang to me when I was not myself?" She asked, no hate filled her eyes.

She was serious for once. What the hell is going on here? Why is she nice?

" 'course I do."

"Okay. My time here's almost up. I was waiting all night for you to come here. He's on his way. There's a girl you will meet. Gaster's going to warn you about her. Just...I guess it's up to you if you trust her or not. Can you sing the song?"

The sun began to fade away. Along with the color of the flowers and the world.

"Let's go in the garden, you'll find something waiting, right there where you left it, laying upside down. When you finally find it, you'll see how it's faded, the underside is lighter, when you turn it around. Everything stays, right where you left it, everything stays but it still changes. Ever so slightly, daily and nightly, in little ways, when everything stays."

The room went black and there he stood. Gaster. He smiled at me, letting out a breath of relief.

"Thank god I've got you here. He's panicking you know. About all of you, especially you and Papyrus." He spoke, motioning to the screen that appeared in the darkness.

'It showed the rest of the group. They all looked broken. G walked the perimeter, just how I did. Golden yellow tears sat in the corners of his eye sockets as he looked out to the forest.

Asriel sat by Toriel and Asgore, looking at my bag that sat in his arms. Tears sat in his eyes just as they sat in everyone else's eyes.

"Where are they?" I ask, turning to Gaster.

He smiles, "Across the river, going South from where you are. Straight South. They're not to far. They parked the RV after they all got in it."

I nod to him. "Thank's Gaster. And don't tell him I'm coming. I'd rather it be a surprise."

He nodded, and with that the room went dark.'
