  "Wah!" Nagisa gasped in surprise.

  "I didn't know that you lived by yourself! So cool! Ahaha!"

  Homura didn't have time for this shenanigans.

  "How is your soul gem? Is it purified?" Homura asked. She must keep all the girls alive to hopefully defeat the Wapurigisnatch.

  "Hmm? Is this fine? I haven't cleaned it since we meet Tomoe-san."

  Nagisa's lilac soul gem was darkening a tiny bit, so maybe she can go for another 12 hours without purifying. Homura checked the time.

  9:56 P.M.

  "Momoe-san, time for bed." Homura announced.

  "Really? That was quick." Nagisa paused. "Um, Akemi-san. I didn't bring any spare pajamas."

  Homura dug in her drawer. She pulled out a long, soft purple plaid with soft plaid pants. "Here. Take this." Homura handed Nagisa the pajamas.

  "Thank you!"

  Homura allowed Nagisa to sleep on the tatami mat, while Homura would sleep on the couch. Not her personal favorite, but it'll have to do. It was comfy enough to nap on, but not as comfy as to sleeping on something really soft, like a western bed.

  Homura dozed off to the soothing sounds of air conditioning (not really soothing, but the air flowing through the vents sound).

  Homura woke up with a pink, woolly blanket on her. Homura moved it to the left of the couch, and headed to the fridge. Homura groggily opened the fridge door, and pulled out two eggs, one for Homura and one for Nagisa. She took a wide pan out, then turned on the oven.

  Homura felt lazy today, so she woke Nagisa up. "Momoe-san, can you watch the eggs, and flip them when they look cooked? Stop flipping them when both sides are cooked, then turn off the oven, then get two plates out, split the egg into two, then wake me up."

  Nagisa was tired, too. "Huh? Okay, Homura-chan. You don't mind if I call you that, do you?'

  "Sure. You can."

  Homura laid back on the couch, stuffed her face into a pillow, then feel asleep, dreaming about Kaname-san.

"Homura-chan!"

"Kaname-san."

"Homura-chan!"

"Kaname-san!"

"Homura-chan!
the eggs are ready! Quick!"

"Heh?"

  And just in that same moment, Homura awoken to Nagisa shaking Homura back and forth. "Wake up! Wake up!" Nagisa pleaded. "You're fluffier than I thought!"

  Homura finally woke up. She looked around, and noticed that Nagisa was holding the plates, and added tons of ketchup to her eggs.

  "It was, like, 4:25 A.M when you woke me up. I was really tired, so I turned off the microwave and put the sausage back in the fridge."

  "Momoe-san, did you mean to say oven instead of microwave and eggs instead of sausage?" Homura asked teasingly.

  "I think we should cleanse our gems. Yours looked pretty dim." Nagisa pointed out.

  "We'll go witch hunting later. First, we'll eat our eggs, okay?"

  "Yeah."

  "Hey, Homura-chan?"

  "Yes, Momoe-san?"

  "Can I stay with you until the doctors let my mom out of the hospital?"

  Homura thought about this for a few seconds. "Maybe it's best for you."

  "Thanks, Homura-chan."

  "No problem."
