Tim walked into the living room and sat on the couch, about every ten minutes someone came in to assist him in the mission. Clockwork, Ej, Maria, Sally, Jeff, Ben, and Dark waited at the tv. They turned it on and tested it out.  Dark turned the dial until the found channel nine, with that, he slipped his hand into the other world. Through the screen was Dark's hand, caressing the leaves being shown on screen.

“Are we going to sit here and look like idiots or are we going to go and get Toby back?”

Tim asked as he adjusted the bag containing their food supply. They all stepped through the glass barrier. The screen was black and white but when they stepped in the world was just as colorful as their own. Looking around they noticed a large rock where the mansion would be.

“Now where do we go?” Ben asked as he dusted himself off.

“Well, when i was following Toby’s signal, it took me north.” masky said, adjusting his mask back onto his face.

“Then we go north.” Dark started walking and didn't bother to look back at anyone in the group. The group followed, Tim walking along side Dark while the others stayed in the back. Sally, Maria, and EJ walked in a group, sally kept looking over at Maria's now round a very visible belly. Maria looked about ready to pop but she acted as if she wasn't carrying a human child in her. Just yesterday her and her mate hunted and she took down her prey without a problem. Ben and Clockwork stood in the far back, they didn't speak to each other but instead glanced over at Tim, one look of anger and one look of lust.

Sally, Ben, and EJ carried backpacks containing artillery, Tim and Clockwork carried the food and Maria and dark carried medical supplies. They were prepared for a battle, one that could lead to a war. A day into their trip they found a large hole in the center of the forest. It had ridges and showed minerals and precious minerals, to Tim, this was a rare sight.

“Hey Dark, why are there so many precious metals in the ground? Shouldn't people have excavated them yet?” he asked.

“We are not people, we may look human but we are only creatures created by darkness. Instead of taking minerals from our world, we steal the ones from your world. Although, I don't know what creature made thi-”

Dark was cut off as a large worm burrowed under their feet and broke the surface, swallowing sally.

“Sally!” everyone screamed in panic, this thing just ate slenders daughter figure. The worm however sank back into the floor, revealing a slime covered Sally floating above the hole. They all stood dumbfounded, wondering what had just happened.

“I’m already dead, you guys need to pay more attention. It's not easy for a ghost to get injured.” she wiped the slime off  and took her spot next to Maria once more. They  continued to walk, slightly embarrassed by their mistake. Each day of the trip consisted of different enemies they needed to face. Some were timid but most were hostile and seemed to have a need for blood. After six days they arrived at where the signal was the strongest. A large hospital stood in the center of the forest. Its walls stood tarnished and seemingly untouched, broken glass lining the perimeter of the building. The group stepped in and silently opened the doors of the building, walking through the halls as unnoticed as they could. The walls were splashed with blood, rusty needles and broken lab equipment littered the floor.

Sally turned nearly invisible and looked around the corners to make  sure it was clear for the group to walk. Maria kept track of their path by remembering landmarks and signs. They reached a hallway occupied by chairs and old broken heart monitors. A blond girl, about 17 or 18 walked out of a room labeled OR. She leaned her sword against the wall and paced outside the room until a large creature on all fours came up to her. Its fingers looked like knives and its skin looked burned and damaged by radiation. The group hid behind the wall while Sally kept looking, not visible to anyone.
