(Sage's P.O.V)

I get to my first class of the day on time as usual. I walk over to my desk and sit down taking out my book again, deciding to read so I can avoid people. Someone bumps into me again and glares right at me, I can see it in the corner of my eyes but I ignore them. I hear a low husky voice.

"Hey, watch where you're going freak." He says, I simply ignore him though.

"Hey! Speak when spoken to." He starts getting frustrated. I think to myself 'Short temper much?' He slams his hand down on my desk and starts to yell at me for no apparent reason. I look up at him with a blank look and say;

"Why should I apologize when you're at fault? My feet were perfectly under my desk and my bag is on the other side of me, so it's YOU who should be apologizing to me." I say calmly. I can tell he's shocked along with the people who are listening in to our conversation, but his face turns red and he yells again.

"Who do YOU Think you are you Little Freak? Huh? You're a nobody, you have no friends and your family probably hates you, how dare you fucking disrespect me?" He ends up spitting in my face while saying that sentence.

I sigh deeply but simply tell him. "You sir, don't deserve one ounce of respect from me, you probably never will with that attitude, your head is too far up your ass and you have no thoughts for others when it comes to their living situation. I didn't do jack shit yet you're going off on me." I grab my bag and leave the class not even caring anymore.

I hear him yelling for me to come back but I continue to look forward .

I end up going home early not wanting to deal with any one for the rest of the day but I remember that Amelia wanted to come over and hang out with me. I sigh yet again and fall on my bed wishing for something or someone to take me away from this dreadful life of mine. I start to fall into a deep sleep, slipping into one of the only places I feel completely safe. Away from all the horrible thoughts I have and all the unpleasant people I'm surrounded with.

-=- In the Dream -=-

I find myself deep in a forest, it's mid day. I start to wonder and look around to see if I know of anything. I see something shine in a near by bush, I walk over to it and pick it up. When I grab it, it appears to be a necklace with a stone attached to it. When I first got a glimpse of the stone, it was shining then all of a sudden the bright light stopped and I could get a closer look. It was a small crystal but it was a light gray color with some splotches of dark brown.

I mumbled. "Weird." All of a sudden I hear foot steps and turn around making sure to hide the necklace. They clear a pathway for themselves and come into the light where I can see them. But, even in the light I wasn't too sure of their image. It was sort of a black figure, it as about 6'1, definitely taller than me. However, I could distinguish that the figure was more masculine than feminine. All of a sudden I hear a voice talk to me, it was a calming low voice that I could listen to forever.

"W-where did you get that from?" He asks me very curiously. I end up looking down in my hands as the crystal starts glowing again.

"O-Oh..! Uhm.. I found it, in a bush near by. I wasn't trying to steal it I promise! I just fou-" He cut me off with a chuckle.

"Haha, it's alright, it's okay. Calm down there stranger, I could tell you weren't going to steal it. You aren't that type of person." After he says that, I get a very puzzled look on my face.

"What do you mean..? You don't even know my name, how could you possibly know I wasn't going to steal it?" I ask while raising my eyebrow in confusion.

He comes closer and I think I could see a smile on his face, It was hard to decipher though because he was more so a shadow.

"Listen, keep it and when we meet, that's when you can give it back to me." He turns around and starts walking back into the depths of the forest. Before I can question him I feel myself waking up from the dream.

-=- Out of The Dream -=-

I jump up and feel something on my chest and look down, It was the necklace from my dreams. I'm extremely puzzled at this point questioning how it even got on my body along with who that strange creature was. I stuff the crystal under my hoodie, hiding it. Deciding to not question anymore about it. I jump out of bed and walk over to Lone's sanctuary.

"Hey buddy" I smile while he slithers up my arm and snuggles onto my body nice and tight making sure he doesn't fall off. I walk downstairs and decide to make another cup of tea. I place Lone on the counter top letting him wander around as much as he's like. I watch him do whatever he wants as I sip on my tea sighing deeply, I have this warm but calming feeling in my chest. Maybe it's because this is my favorite time of day, where I can just hang out and be alone with my cup of favorite tea and my favorite snake. I have a small smile on my face, but suddenly I'm pulled from my thoughts and I hear a knock on the door. I look over and raise an eyebrow out of confusion I ask myself 'Who could possibly be at the door at 9:03 we rarely get any guests as is'

I grab a small kitchen knife, hiding it behind my back and walk towards the door, Once I crack open the door slightly, my eyes go wide and I drop the knife.

The person who was standing right in front of me, was the man from my dream.
