I walked out of my bathroom fully dressed in my police uniform. Right as I finished pinning on my badge , my phone buzzed . I looked at the text that Nick had sent me.
"Hey , Carrots. "I rolled my eyes at the ridiculous nickname. No matter how much I hated it, I loved it just as much.
"Morning, Nick . " I replied.
"Do you want to go get some donuts and coffee befor heading in today ?" Nick asked
I immediately responded with a yes
"Great! I'll pick you up in five !" Nick siad
Noticing that My bage was a little dirty, I began shining it.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door . I opened my door to find Nick standing outside waiting for me.
" You ready to go?" He asked
"Yep!" I replied cheerfully as I pinned on my bage and shut my door .
