I woke up in my apartment. My pillow was permanentlystained with tears. I sulked out of bed and began getting ready for work. My phone started buzzing like crazy. One text was from Mr.Big askingme if I was alright, and letting me know that if I needed anything , I just had to ask. One was from Fru-Fru saying the same thing. One was from Isabella saying that she was sorry for Nick's proclamation yesterday and that if I was alright, to go to Donkin donuts at five . In thirty minutes. Seventy-eight of the, we're from Nick. I didn't bother looking at those.
When I got to Donkin donuts, I got a double shoted expresso and a carrot frosted donut. A few minutes later, Isabella walked in...... with Nick.
I calmly got up and walked towards the exist saying hello to Isabella and made my way to the ZPD, very quickly.
"Judy! Are you alright?!?!? What happened?!?!" Clawhouser exclaimed as soon as I walked in through the door.
"What?" I asked.
"Haven't you looked in the mirror? Here." Clawhouser siad gentlely handing me a small mirror.
I shrieked when I saw my reflection. My eyes were bloodshot and small, tiny spots of my fur was matted ,and my eyes were dull and empty.
"N-Nicholas is what happened. He...." I couldn't finish my sentence .
I remember that I had my pen and the button had jammed agian when I opened the door to Mr.Big's office.
'Nick, if you had the choice of Isabella getting hurt, or Judy dying, what would you choose? ' Mr.Big's voice siad. 'I'd rather Judy die! So don't you dare hurt Isab - ' I stopped the pen and looked at Clawhouser. His ears were down and he had a sad, angry , confused look on his face. He looked at the door and back at me.
"I'm sorry Chife Hoops, I'll talck to you later , I think you should go rest in your office now. " Clawhouser siad casually nodding his head slightly towards the door. I looked out the corner of my eye to see Nick and Isabella in the door way mouths open , ears down , holding hands.
"Yes thank you Clawhouser. " I siad cheerfully kissing him on the cheek in a friendlyway. I knew he knew it to. I walked up to the elevator and pushed the 5th floor button. Heading to my office.
