I'm Elena's twin [1]

Elena POV
I'm at Caroline's from the slumber party last night when my phone goes off, waking us all up Caroline promptly pushes me out of bed

"Go away!" she said

"Unf" I said

I land on the floor and look back up at Caroline, angrily. I crawl across the floor towards my phone and take it off the dresser

"Hello?" I answered my phone

Caroline and Bonnie look over at me from Caroline's bed, both incredibly annoyed with being awaken

"Shhh" Bonnie said

"Elena!" Caroline said

I drag myself out of the room and continue my conversation in the hallway

"How was the slumber party?" Stefan asked

"Good and much needed" I said "When can you and I have one?" I asked flirtatiously

"Mmm. That can be arranged" he said

"Okay. Now. Today. Take me far, far away" I said

"Even with everything that's going on?" he asked

"Because of everything that's going on" I said

"And you're sure this has nothing to do with dodging your father who just got into town?" he asked

"Uh, this has everything to do with that" I said

"Well, in that case, where would you like to go?" he said making me smile

Damon POV
I see Andie checking her watch and put her jacket on as she walks downstairs with me carrying her scarf

"I'm late. This is such a crazy day" she said looking in the mirror at the bottom of the stairs "I'm, uh, covering the Historical Society's High Tea" she said

She has a bandage over her bite mark on her neck

"Ooh! Thrilling" I said sarcastically; throwing the scarf up

We walk together down the main hallway leading to the front door

"Yeah. It's for some visiting writer. He's writing a book on small-town Virginia. It's a big snooze" she said

"Uh, Elijah Smith" she said

"Smith. He's using Smith?" I asked

She looks at herself, yet again, in a different mirror as I place the scarf around her neck and try it

"Okay. You have your story straight in your mind, right?" I said

"I can't say that you bit me or drank my blood, just that we hit it off and I really like you. You are terrific, though. You're sweet, funny, you're honest" she said

I smile places my hands on either side of her head, and compel her "And you're falling hard" I said

"You might be the one" she said

"Perfect" I said

I open the front door for her seeing Alaric, who not having knocked yet, stands on the front porch

"Have a great day, honey" I said and kiss her

We pull apart and she walks out the front door, acknowledging Alaric

"Oh. Hey, Alaric. Later" she said and gets in her and leaves

I wave goodbye to her and Alaric moves to stand in front of me
