I'm Elena's twin [1]

Alexandra POV

"Tonight is the full moon. We should assume that Klaus is prepared to break the curse" Elijah said

"Elena said that the Sun and the Moon curse is fake? That it's actually just a curse placed on Klaus"  Stefan said

"Klaus is a vampire born of a werewolf bloodline. The curse has kept his werewolf aspect from manifesting. But if he breaks it...He'll be a true hybrid"  I said

Damon joins us "Then why are we letting him break the curse? We can kill him today. With Bonnie" he said

"Damon..." Stefan

"No. Bonnie can't use that much power without dying" Elena said

"I'll write her a great eulogy" He said

"It's not an option, Damon" I said

"All right, how do we break this curse?" Stefan asked

"Well, the ritual itself is relatively straightforward. The ingredients, so to speak, you already know" Elijah said

"The moonstone" Stefan said

"A witch will channel the power of the full moon to release the spell that's bound within the stone. After that, Klaus, being both werewolf and vampire, will sacrifice one of each" I said

"And where do I fit into it?" Elena asked

"The final part of the ritual" Elijah said and takes a wooden box from the shelf "Klaus must drink the blood of the doppelgänger...to the point of your death" he said

I look at Damon and Stefan takes Elena's hand and looks at him. He opens the box and takes a jar from it

"And that's where you come in" she said to Elijah

"This is an elixir that I acquired some 500 years ago for Katerina. It possesses mystical properties of resuscitation" he said

"So I'll be dead?" She asked

"And then you won't" I said

"That's your plan? A magical witch potion with no expiration date?" Damon asked me and looks at me  "You want her to come back to life, what about John's ring?" He asked

"The rings only work on humans. The doppelgänger's a supernatural occurrence. Odds are, the ring won't work" I said

"I'll take those odds over Elijah's elixir. What if it doesn't work, Alexa?" He said

"Then I guess I'll just be dead" Elena said

I look at her "Your not going to die, you trust me right?" I said

"Of course I do" she said

Damon looks at Stefan and he shrugs. Damon looks at Elijah and leaves

"Do we know if Klaus has everything he needs to do this? Does he have a werewolf?" Elena asked

"Klaus has been waiting to break this curse for over a thousand years. If he doesn't already have a werewolf, my guess is by tonight, he will" Elijah said

Damon POV
I'm outside, drinking scotch. Stefan rejoins me

"Breakfast of champions, huh?" He said

"I'm surrounded by idiots. I need all the help I can get" I said

"You know, you're not helping" he said

"Elijah is an original vampire, Stefan. One we tried to kill. You're going to believe this guy?" I said

"What do you want me to do, Damon? Elena made her decision. She's choosing to trust Elijah because Alexa trusts him. I'm going to put my faith in her" he said
