Nayeon smirked, "Yes, we're okay now." She glanced back at Dahyun who just smiled. She slowly approached her friends and stood next to Nayeon happily. She held Nayeon's hand and raised their intertwined hands in the air.

Jihyo and Chaeyoung gasped, "YOU TWO ARE TOGETHER AGAIN?!"

Both girls felt awkward, but they knew better than to show that awkwardness. They had just promised each other to go back to the way they were before and both were willing to commit to that promise.

"No, silly. We're best friends again." Nayeon good-humoredly responded as she put her arm around the younger girl to prove that they were truly okay now. Dahyun just smiled at Nayeon, "... but that doesn't mean that I won't find you attractive anymore," she jokingly added with a hint of honesty.

Nayeon just laughed and ruffled her hair, "I could say the same for you."

Chaeyoung and Jihyo just looked at each other and back at the couple.

"Whatever, you two are confusing me. I'm just glad you two are back. I guess that means we can bring back the spin the bottle games?" Chaeyoung winked, thinking of the many intimate dares they came up with.

The day has finally come. Nayeon closed her eyes and prayed. This was all she could do now. She blankly stared at her empty desk with a lone pencil and eraser at the side. Finally, the teacher gave her the test and Nayeon scrambled to answer the questions before she could forget everything.

She bit her lip as she stared at the questions. She suddenly felt like her mind just went blank. It greatly resembled the packet in front of her- blank and full of spaces for answers that struggled to rise to her memory. She felt dizzy, her vision was blurry. The girl was even sweating now, her heart beat was increasing by the second.

"Five minutes left," the teacher announced at her desk.

"I'm sorry, Mina..." Nayeon fainted.

"Andwae!" Nayeon woke up from her nightmare and felt lightheaded. Just like in her dream, the girl was sweating from the intensity of her dream. She felt like her heart was going to explode.

Beep, beep!

Nayeon slowly cast a look at her phone which had just lit up from a text. She weakly grabbed her phone and tiredly squinted her eyes to read the person who had sent it. Surprisingly, it is Mina, who had never texted her before even though she was the one who originally asked for her number. After they exchanged numbers, it was always Nayeon who would text her first when she was going to be late to their tutor sessions or when she just felt like texting her.

As she read the text her smile just kept getting wider. It was a simple sentence that consisted of seven words, but it meant everything to her.

"You can do it, so don't worry."

She bit her lip and in an instant, her heartbeat was back to the normal speed. She nodded with a bright smile on her face, "I can do this!"

"So how do you think you did?" Mina asked curiously, unknowingly matching her steps with Nayeon's.

The latter just shrugged silently, making an incoherent sound of disappointment. Mina didn't know when it started. She didn't know when she began to feel comfortable enough to wrap an arm around Nayeon's shoulder as a way of comforting her. She didn't even know when she started to care for her. It's only been a little more than a week since they met, but the shy girl couldn't deny that she already found a special connection between her and the usually dorky girl.

"It's okay, you'll be fine." Mina sincerely told her. Nayeon looked at her curiously, "Will you be my friend even if I don't get an A?"

Mina hesitated for a second, but nonetheless her response was still what the older girl expected.

"Sorry, rules are rules." Mina coldly replied, but made a small smile when Nayeon wasn't looking anymore. Yes, you're right. Originally, Mina didn't want to befriend the older girl, but after a week of getting to know her, she came to think that Nayeon wasn't as bad as she thought. She saw how strenuously the brunette worked to get a good grade and that's the only thing that mattered to Mina. She didn't care about the outcome; all she cared about was the overall process.

They were getting their tests tomorrow and while Nayeon was extremely anxious for the results, Mina was excited to surprise the girl for her efforts to finally pay off.

I'll give you a chance, you flirt. Mina thought as she secretly smiled at the pouting girl next to her. The older girl took a seat in the hidden corner of the library where they usually sat. Mina sat next to her and continued to stare at the girl's side profile.

Nayeon turned her head and saw the younger girl smiling at her, which made her feel suddenly conscious of her looks. She bit her lip and shyly looked down, "Is there something on my face?"

"No, it's perfect," Mina smiled until she realized what she just said. She turned red and let out an awkward laugh, "Ah, I mean... y-you're perfectly clean." Are you out of your mind?! Mina thought to herself.

"Wow, I'm flattered." Nayeon joked in a teasing manner. Mina blushed even more and she suddenly went back to her old shy self.

Just by Mina's compliment, Nayeon seemed to forget everything bad that happened today. She smirked and slowly inched her face towards Mina, planning to tease her even more. Mina just continued to stare at the nothing in front of her, refusing to look in Nayeon's direction.

"Oh, isn't that Momo?!" Nayeon whispered and pointed to Mina's left, the opposite direction of where she was sitting.

Mina instinctively looked to her left and at the same time, Nayeon placed a mere peck on Mina's right cheek. The latter froze in response, feeling a mix of emotions taking over her.

She slowly turned her head to meet the older girl's eyes.

"That's for being the most supportive nonfriend I've had." Nayeon sincerely told her. Mina smiled, "No matter what the result is... I just want you to know that I don't regret a thing."

Mina was still surprised from what Nayeon just did, but she was more surprised at herself. She wasn't even the least bit angry at Nayeon for kissing her without any warning. In fact, she actually liked it.

What Mina said next was something Nayeon never expected to hear from the cold-hearted girl who ignored her a week ago.

"You're not so bad, Nayeon."
