Turning the corner to you, he seemed to notice you. Speeding up a little, he stopped just in front of you before opening the passenger door once again.
"Where have you been?!" He questioned threw loud speakers, flinching at his sudden out burst, your eyebrows folded nervously, "I-.... I went to go get coffee- I sat there waiting on the street for almost two hours, I was cold." You said as calmly as you could put it. Sitting down, you put your legs in just before the door slammed next to you.
"Are you alright?" You asked sweetly. Why was he acting like this?
"I'm fine... It's more so you I'm worried about." He told, a little more coolly this time, "I'm alright, a little cold but nothing I can't handle." You said with a small laugh. He didn't seem very amused.
"(F/n)... I'm sorry for leaving you like that... I should have took you somewhere... Where you could have stayed." He apologized. Waving your hands back and forth, you smiled at him, "No- It's alright. I'm fine, you're fine, everything's fine. There's no need to apologize for something you had no control over."
"But I could have done something about it... I chose not to." He said almost sadly, "It's okay, it won't kill me if I was left out in the cold for a couple hours, trust me. Besides, there's no where for me to stay here anyway. My wallet's at home, and all I've got is-" You reached into your back pocket.
"Uhh...About... 20 Bucks!" You said, counting to ones and fives in you hand, "Listen... My apartment isn't anywhere near here, so I'm perfectly fine with waiting, and not to mention, I did have a part init... I was the one who walked away, got lost, found a coffee shop, met up with Sam- Yeah I had a big part in this..."
"Wait... You met up with... Sam?" He asked in his mixture of voices. Folding your eyebrows in confusion, you looked back to the radio, "Yeah? Why do you ask?" He went silent.
"No reason."
Head on the window frame, eyelids slowly getting heavier and heavier, legs curled up in a ball and arms hugging your torso, you felt every inch of your body telling you to go to sleep. The soft humming of the yellow car didn't help with your drowsiness in the slightest either. You always slept better in cars anyway...
Blinking, you finally let your eyes close all the way. Feeling the sting of your eyelids was uncomfortable, so you opened them again, allowing the pain to stop. You just wanted to rest, but it felt like every time you had got the chance to, something new came up.
Sighing, you sat up straight. Letting out silent grunts as your body ached, practically screaming at you to try and sleep again. Ignoring the light pain coming from, well, everywhere, you continued to straighten your back.
"Everything alright there... (F/n)?" Bee asked sarcastically. Grinning, you rolled your eyes, "Just fine and dandy, thanks." You replied with a raspy tone. Stretching out, the palms of your hands met with the cycling.
