The sound of levels in the underground building passing by filled everyone's ears. It was hard to miss, with the lights coming from the other side of the door being brighter than the ones inside, and with how slow the elevator was going, wasn't helping much. (E/c) orbs focused on the lights, not seeing them as they zipped passed, to lost in thought to actually see them. These thoughts were strange, unfamiliar even. They were of hatred and guilt, something new to the owner of these imaginary words. It confused them, making them space out, not hearing nor seeing anyone or anything around them.
Two fingers snapped a couple feet away from you, still not being able to catch your attention. A hand waved in front of your face, taking you off guard for a short second. Blinking twice, you shook your head and leaned back slightly, "Sorry..." You muttered under your breath to the owner of the hand; Sam.
"You okay?" He asked, a look of concern plastered on his face. Switching your eyes up to him, you looked into his as the two of you locked, "What if he thinks I betrayed him?" You asked, not really knowing what you were saying. Betrayed him? How? You tried to help him for god's sake! You even ended up beaten and battered because of it!
"What? Are you kidding?" He asked, truly dumbfounded as to how you came up with that thought. Blinking sadly, you silently told him you meant every word, "God, (F/n). Did I not tell you?" He questioned, raising a brow as he did.
"Tell me what?"
"When these idiots took your down, -which I might add, you were a beast out there- Bee saw you bleeding, and holy shit... You should have seen it-"
"He almost killed someone." Mikaela chimed in, a much more serious tone compared to Sam's excited one. Mouth starting to open, you stared at the beautiful woman in awe, "What?" You asked in a hush, wanting to hear the whole story, but knowing the enemy was in the same room.
"Once they knocked you out, BumbleBee kinda lost it. He ripped the wires off of himself and, well... You know the gun thing he does with his arm? Yeah, let's just say we saw a lot of that." She explained in very light detail, earning a groan and moan from the man beside you.
"Aww, you're G-Rating it! When you went down, he made sure they wouldn't do it again. He pushed himself up, took one of the wires to the helicopters, and brought it down a couple feet away from you. Crushing a car with it! He was tipping, throwing and ripping cars apart, that was until they brought him down with you. It was pretty painful to watch though." His hyper tone suddenly dropped, becoming mournful and blue.
"The look on his face the second he saw you... I've never seen him like that. He looked broken..." His gaze on you drifted, moving to the ground in thought, "Listen... (F/n), you mean a lot to him. You have for, heh, a while now. It might sound weird, but he's known of you for quite a bit. And once he got the chance to finally meet you, he was ecstatic. So don't go dying on him, or me for that matter, okay? If you die then I'll kick your ass." Joking about the last part, he smiled slightly and leaned in, making your eyes lock as he did so.
The faintest of grins formed on your lips, as if not truly meaning it. The thoughts flooded your mind, making your eyes go foggy. His words were strange. He knew of you the whole time? How?
A sudden, 'DING!' filled your ears, with it being loud, it wasn't surprising that it snapped you out of it. And it was a good thing it did, you were headed into dark territory real quick. Blinking twice, you looked up at the digital number at the top of the door, it reading, '34'
Watching as the thick doors sluggishly opened, you were the first to step out. But as you did so, you saw something you hadn't expected. With the water from the Hoover dam coming out on either side of you, you blinked around the area. You were still outside? Switching your eyes around, you looked up and saw the dam covering the elevator, hiding it.
