Elaine's POV
When I kiss Carlisle, I start to remember things. Wonderful things.
I gasp in shock and then pull away from Carlisle. At first, he looks sad. He thinks I am pulling away because I don't want him. That's farthest from the truth.
"Carlisle, I remember some of it!"
I scream cheerfully.
He looks at me, shocked. Then, he smiles widely, and he wraps his arms around me. I can't help but jump up and down. I'm so happy I could cry.
"What- what do you remember, baby?"
He asks, looking frazzled.
"I remember waking up in the clearing, I remember what happened to me when I healed Bella! I remember seeing you for the first time after I woke up.
How happy I was. How happy we were!"
I knew I didn't remember everything; but, these memories were a start. I felt like I could live with it if they were the only thing I remembered from my past life.
Though I want my whole memory back, I felt blessed.
There was still one thing that bothered me, the crash. I could not remember the very crash that landed me in the hospital only days before.
My smile disappeared as I tried.
"Darling, what's wrong? This is good! In fact, it is amazing!" Carlisle says, still excited.
I fake a small smile and nod.
I look around the room, and I realize something.
"Where's Violet?"
Carlisle's excitement faltered, for reasons I knew not.
I sat myself down on the edge of the bed.
"Darling, what is it?"
"Violet, she was with you, when you crashed."
He begins slowly.
I raise an eyebrow.
"And where is she now? Is she okay??"
I didn't like the look he gave. The look like something terrible had happened, and when he uttered his next words, I knew the face revealed it all.
"Violet is missing."
Bella's POV
I wake up in the morning to birds singing outside my window.
I look out it and see that it's sunny outside.
Ughhhh, that means the Cullen's won't be at school.
Now I have to listen to Jess all day.
"Bella?"
Charlie asks from my door.
I turn away from my window to look at him,
"What's up?"
He's dressed for work in his blue police shirt and black dress pants.
"Um, I was just wondering if it would be just us for dinner tonight?"
"Yeah, that's what I said. It's just us. Edward has some stuff to do with Elaine anyways."                        "How is she doing? Have you heard any updates on her condition?" Charlie asks. I chuckle a little, Charlie just texted to ask not even twenty moments ago. He has always been quite fond of Elaine. I mean, she did keep me alive when Edward was gone.

"Not yet, father. I will tell you when I do."   After we hang up, I finish getting dressed and get into my car.  Pulling out of the drive, I look to see Carlisle's car is on the street. What on earth is he doing here? I stopped moving the car and put it in park. I step out and start to walk towards the car when all of a sudden I an engulfed in a hug. I look to see the blonde hair of none other than Elaine Marie Mason. I smile and hug her back.                                                                                                          "Elaine, what are you doing out of the hospital?" I ask.                                           Elaine backs away a little so I can see her face, but keeps the hug going.

" I got discharged today. Carlisle had to go into work, so I thought I would come see you before school." she gushed ,you could tell she was excited to see me.

Elaine's POV

Having Bella in my arms feels amazing. I don't remember a heck of a lot from our relationship, but I do remember her being my best friend, and saving her. I wouldn't risk my life for anyone. Bella must have been important to me.

"So how's the whole remembering thing going?"
Bella asks.
I shrug and sit down on the good of my car.
"Amazingly better. Although, I still cannot, for the life of me remember what happened on the night of the accident. It's like there is a block. It's killing me."
It really was, it gave me killer headaches just thinking about it. It has been three days since I got out of the hospital. Victoria's army was on the rise. Bella and Edward are graduating this weekend, and I have a million things to do.
Alice was throwing Bella a graduation party, and because I wasn't in school and I was currently unemployed, I am on the head of the party committee.
Carlisle wants me to take it slow. He's afraid that if I do too much, I might loose my memory again.
Bella sits down on the good next to me,
"Are you okay?"
She asks, concern in her voice.
"Yeah. Just excited to see you walk across that stage this weekend."  I smile nudging her.
She blushes, her whole face literally turns red, and I chuckle at him.
"Don't remind me. I'm suppose to be turned after graduation."  She says, looking a little scared.
"What? You're not looking forward to eternal damnation?"
She looks a little shocked at me.
"Since when have you believed that?"
I shrug.
"I've been through a lot lately."
She nods, then stands up,
"I gotta get to school, but hey, will I see you tonight and the dinner thing Alice is planning?"
Oh right, family dinner.
Even though none of us eat, Alice wants us to sit at a table and talk to each other.
It's suppose to create healthy relationships.
"Yeah, I'll be there. Just have to run a few errands for the big party."
Bella blushes again, pushes hair awkwardly behind her ear, and nods.
"I'll see you then. I love you."
I smile a little, then said,
"I love you too."
She gets in her car and I get in mine, gripping my pounding head into my hands. All of a sudden I head a bang on the side of my window, I flinch back violently, then look to see who it was.
There, standing shirtless, is none other than Sam Uley.
I wince. It'll take a thousand cases of amnesia to forget him.
