A Moment That Changed It All (Jake Paul)

"Okay ready you're gonna push on the count of three," the doctor said.

I just nodded my head.

"Okay ready 1... 2... 3... Push" she said.

All I could do was scream.

"Ready? Again 1... 2... 3..."

"One more 1... 2... 3..."

Then I heard crying and I saw them holding my baby.

"Time for baby number two ready..."

I gripped on tighter to Jake's hand and nodded at the doctor.

"1... 2... 3... Push!"

"Okay, you're doing great. Again push!" she said.

"I can't do this anymore Jake" I said in tears.

"Yes you can baby" he said kissing my hand.

"Come on one more push" the doctor said. 

"I can't!"

"Yes you can Luna just one last big push" she said.

And so I did and that was the last thing I remembered before it all went dark. 

As my eyes slowly opened adjusting to the light I noticed I was in a different room. I was in a hospital bed and all I saw in front of me was two bassinet. 

"Baby you're awake!" Jake said.

"Yeah, what happened?" I asked.

"The doctor said that you probably passed out from the pain because they checked everything and everything was fine."

"How long was I out for?"

"Not even a half an hour they just brought the babies into the room after cleaning and checking them. And they are absolutely perfectly healthy."

"Can I hold them?" I asked on the verge of tears. I don't know why I asked since they are my babies.

"Yeah let me just get them one at a time."

First, he handed me the bundle of joy wrapped in blue then he laid the other wrapped in pink in my other arm.

"Oh my gosh Jake they're perfect" I said tearing up at the sight of what we created. 

A few seconds later the nurse came in congratulating us.

"So we have a few things to take care of. First, I need to fill this out for the babies birth certificates. Then I am going to help you with feeding. Lastly, you have many people waiting to come in."

"Who's here?" I asked Jake as he and the nurse rocked the babies so that I could finish the birth certificates.

"Your mom, Danny, Xavier, and my parents."

After I finished with the paperwork and the nurse helped me with feeding it was time for the family to come in. Jake was holding his baby girl and I was holding my baby boy.

"We introduce to you Genevieve (pronounced john vee ev) Sophia Paul and Nathaniel Lukas Paul," I said.

The babies were being passed around as I just rested my eyes. I was awoken by the cries of babies and soon the nurse from earlier had shown up. 

"Looks like the babies woke you up before the alarm," she said.

"What alarm," I asked sitting myself up. 

"Babies have to be fed frequently when they are first born so we have an alarm to wake you up when its time for them to be fed."

This became a cycle all night and day. Eventually, after about a three in the hospital, we were able to leave. 

Although the cycle of feeding the babies then me sleeping continued for about for days thankfully my mom and Jake's mom were around to help until I was finally able to leave my bed. 

Every time I looked at my babies I just wondered how Jake and I could make such perfect babies. Gigi and Nate mostly slept which gave me time to socialize with my moms. As they were the only people I could socialize with I didn't want to leave my babies and I didn't want people coming in for now. It was only Jake and I that wouldn't leave but my paranoia got the best of me so, at every door way there was hand sanitizer, no shoes were allowed anywhere beyond the front door. I can honestly say I'm surprised I didn't have my babies in bubbles. But I knew they needed to be exposed to a germ or two. Jake and I mutually decided that because they were born early we would wait a month until we let people come over and then wait another month before we would take them out of the house.

After that month our parents flew back home. Thankfully, Zoe, Alfie, and Joe were coming to visit so we would still have some help while the twins were still a lot to handle.

So this is kind of short compared to what other chapters will be. I think I got in too deep about baby care. Next chapter there will be more dialoge and yeah. And I will be refering to the babies as Gigi and Nate.
