"Unnie!" Yoona exclaims as she sees In Na enter the apartment. The latter has just arrived a few minutes before six in the evening and Yoona is glad to have her around. It is still quite a new experience for her to be alone and In Na's presence truly calmed her down. "You weren't able to attend the summer getaway!"
In Na pouts her lips as she wraps her arms around the younger's shoulders. "I've been really busy with our thesis, Yoong. I actually still have to go to the university at this hour since we've got to talk to our adviser."
Yoona's eyebrows furrow. She has been aware that she really got to be used to going home late even though their residence is located inside the campus. She's actually thankful that the security in this place is strict so she has nothing to worry about.
"I was hoping that I could eat dinner with you." Not getting quite used to eating alone, Yoona surprisingly has a small appetite as she finishes her meals. She feels lonely to not have a companion unlike when she was still back in their hometown.
In na pats the younger's head as she sympathizes with her. "I've been like that too when I first got here. But you know, as your university years pass by, you'll get along better with yourself. It's where you learn to lean on yourself more that you could to others."
"Is this still about your ex and your best friend?" Having known about her past relationship, Yoona knows how In Na got to have that way of thinking. To make the story short, her ex-boyfriend and ex-best friend fell for each other behind her back.
"Don't think too much about it. I actually have someone who's pursuing me and... I'm really glad that he understands that I'm not ready yet." In Na emits a soft chuckle as Yoona's eyes widen at her cousin's revelation.
"No way... is he handsome?"
"Very?"
"Can I meet him soon?"
"Well, I gotta go now before you meet him. I'll set a date." In Na then stands up from the couch and fixes her blazer. "I really wanted to eat dinner with you but I'll be back in a late hour. Don't stay up too late okay? Your first class starts tomorrow."
Yoona nods at the elder's advice before waving her hand. In Na then disappears from her sight and she emits a soft sigh.
I guess I gotta cook for myself again this time.
She is about to make her way to the kitchen when the doorbell rings. Thinking of who might it be, she hesitates to open it as what her parents advised her: don't open the door for strangers okay?
She's about to ignore it when it rings for a second time and she breathes deeply.
I will not be murdered on my first day here... right? I'm not that unlucky despite the fact that I have a jerk as my neighbor.
Walking towards the door, she emits a heavy sigh before opening it. Seeing an unfamiliar silhouette behind their gate, her heart starts to beat faster. Not wanting to assume that it's really the end of her, she turns on the lights of the garage and there she sees an ash brown-haired boy who's holding a Tupperware.
"If you're going to ask if I'm crying again, I obviously am not." The person happens to be one of the boys who were with the jerk she encountered yesterday. Her blood still boils at the thought of that brown-haired guy who smells of trouble.
Seok Jin expected this. He knew that the girl would be hostile towards him relating to the incident that happened a day ago. If it wasn't for Jungkook, they would have had a proper greeting and the girl will not be as cold as she was right now.
