Trouble Next Door

"I can't take this anymore. I did an all-nighter and I feel like dying!" Yoona complains as she rests her head on top of the pile of books placed on the table. "Physics is going to be the death of me and it's on the same day as our drawing exam! Whoever made our schedule surely wants us to suffer for the rest of the week."

"That'll take five hours, right? You should grab a heavy lunch while we're here at the canteen." Jimin's concern grows as he notices just how pale the girl looks like after a night of not having enough sleep. All of them gathered at the boys' apartment to study and they were all tired to death as they tried to understand the reviewers they have gotten from their professors.

"They've given us study guides, but none of them helped!" Hoseok's anxiety fills his system up as he starts to nervously bite his fingernails and turns to look at the person beside him, who happens to be the very annoyed Jungkook. "Kook, they'll be giving us remedial exams, won't they?"

"Come on, hyung. It's not going to be the end of the world if you fail this one." With that statement, he receives a loud smack on the head from Namjoon, who's sending daggers at his direction. "Ah, really! Stop being so grade-conscious!"

"It's not just being grade-conscious, kid. It's called being a responsible student. Right, Yoong?" They all turn their heads at the aforementioned lady, but she isn't able to answer as she already drifted to dreamland. It seems like she's sleeping in a very difficult position, but since none of them wants to disturb her, they just let her be.

"I'm going to pay for her meal today. Let's wake her up before our exam and ask her to eat a lot because it's going to be a tough one for us." Jin states and Jimin agrees with him. The three of them will be taking their drawing exam later while the rest will be going home to review for their other exams the next day. Their first midterms week in college is surely a challenging one, and they find it quite hard to adapt to the fast-changing environment.

"She didn't have enough rest before the midterms week because of their initiation for the dance club." Taehyung states as his lips curl into a pout while looking pitifully at the girl. "Poor Yoong. We should treat her to some relaxing activity once our exams are done."

The rest of them nods at Taehyung's statement as they know how hard the girl has been working these past few weeks. They barely even have time to hangout after their classes because Yoona has to attend practices for the dance club and does not have the energy to go out during her free time.

Half of the boys stand up to order their meals while Jungkook and Yoongi remain seated to guard the sleeping girl. The younger has his chin rested on top of his palm as he stares at Yoona with a lot of questions in his mind.

"I still don't get why the others are so nice to this sadist girl." Jungkook says, making Yoongi snicker. He turns to look at his friend with his eyebrows furrowed. "What? You didn't like her that much at first, but now you're fine with her being around us!"

"Yah, she still has a debt on me so I'm not going to leave her alone. Besides, I don't care much as long as she isn't pretentious. As much as she has her bad qualities, Namjoon and the others like her for being real."

"That's true. She might seem smart, but she's also thoughtless most of the time." Jungkook cracks a grin and moves the stray hair surrounding Yoona's face as she continues to dwell into her deep slumber. After the incident, he still feels kind of awkward around the girl, but it seems like it's not a big deal for her anymore so it relieves him.

"Aye. The food's here! Let's just wake Yoona up for hers later."

"I thought I was going to faint during the exam!" Yoona complains as she, Jimin, and Jin walk down the hallway after finishing their drawing exam. "I was sooo hungry, but it's a good thing that my seatmate sneakily gave me a chocolate bar which became my lifeline for five hours."

"Who told you to sleep for the whole duration of our vacant time anyway?" Jimin replies, earning a glare from the younger. "We kept on waking you up, but you were too deep into your sleep! You barely had any time to finish your meal because we're running late for our exam."

Yoona curls her lips into a pout as she looks ahead, not wanting to be guilty for what Jimin has accused her. Truth to be told, they were five minutes late to their last exam for the day because the guys were insistent on her finishing her meal when she woke up late due to exhaustion.

"I'm sorry, okay? I thought I'd just have a quick nap, but I wasn't able to stop myself and slept for three whole hours!" She huffs in frustration and then turns to look at the two guys with her eyebrows furrowed. "Anyway, why did you guys even wait for me? You both finished almost an hour ago and you could have just went home without me."

"Yah, how can we just leave out our muse who seems to be perfecting her drawing exam?" Jin teasingly says and nudges her. "It's quite late already and we just couldn't leave you here. Namjoon and the guys will be scolding us nonstop if we didn't do so."

"You're not obliged to take care of me." Yoona narrows her eyes as she glances at the two who are just grinning like crazy.

"Your scary cousin will be blaming us for the rest of our lives if we don't take good care of you, you know." Jimin says as he recalls that one time when In Na were sending daggers to their directions after the incident with Yoona. "God, she's really stunning but she's also feisty!"

"Well, it runs in our blood." Yoona shrugs and emits a soft chuckle. "In Na unnie is really scary when it comes to other people, but she's a total sweetheart."

"I would have hit on her if it wasn't for that good-looking guy who's always around her. Is that her boyfriend?" Jin asks and when Yoona nods, he clutches his chest and acts as if he's hurt. "Pretty girls these days are either taken or are relatives of yours."

"Jin! You're disgusting!" Jimin and Yoona yells at the elder who suddenly laughs out loud. His statement caught the two off guard and he can't blame them because they're too innocent for this world.

"The two of you are really compatible. Would you mind dating each other?"
