He asks you on a date.

~ Little bean is shaking just thinking about it. He doesn't want to mess it up. Deep breaths escape his mouth quietly as he tries to build up the courage to ask you out.

~ Mahiru would make sure you two are alone just in case you reject him. He wouldn't want you to feel bad for doing that in front of everyone.

~ Would greet you like normally when you arrive to the classroom. Mahiru would just act as if it's a normal day even though he is dying inside.

~Direct approach is the most simple way to do it he decided. After the bell rings he catches your attention before you leave. You wait until he's done putting his books in his bag.

~ "Do you want to see a movie with me tomorrow?" The flustered boy blurts out.

~You blush and accept his offer which calms his nerves. Of course, like the gentleman he is, Mahiru offers to walk you home.

~Your walk home was filled with nervous laughter and the childish innocence of a new relationship. Both of you didn't walk too close to each other to avoid any awkward accidental contact.

~Mahiru was reassured by the fact that you were nervous. It calmed him knowing you were just as nervous as him. Your mannerisms when flustered were so adorable according to Mahiru. He would take side glances at you while walking.

~Finally the two of you reach your doorstep. After you thank him for walking you home there's that strange feeling as the conversation ends. You didn't want him to leave, but you knew that both of you had a lot of homework to do that night.

~Something bold possesses you. Quickly you kiss his cheek, say goodbye one more time, and rush into your house. Mahiru stands on your front steps for a couple more seconds before smiling while touching his cheek and setting off towards his own house.

~ "Don't forget that babies are troublesome." "Shut up!"
