~Kuro isn't exactly listening to you when you first tell him how much you like having him in your life. He assumes you're telling him to do something and brushes you off with a simple "yeah, okay."

~Repeating yourself while getting face level with him gets his attention. Kuro's gaze stays fixated on his lap as your words process in his head.

~As you go to walk away to leave him be, he tugs at your shirt lightly. Your name will slowly roll off his tongue as if he's saying it for the first time. It's delicate and meticulous. As you turn to face him, Kuro's hand falls back down into his lap.

~You're going to have to wait for his response; he's not very good at expressing himself let alone when he's so over joyed at you randomly decided to tell him that you like being with him and that picking him up was the best thing you've ever done.

~When he begins to speak, his face heats up. Kuro's heart is beating fast, but in a good way. His words are slow and thought out. Yet, because his mind is just going over what you said his words aren't coming out right.

~Becomes flustered and annoyed that you could portray your feelings so well through words and he could only stutter around like an idiot.

~Finally, Kuro just stands up and pulls you into a tight, protective hug. It was so sudden that, you didn't think you've seen him move so fast. It almost startled you. But, you accepted the hug.

~ "Thank you, (y/n). I want to say more I just don't-" You cut him off by tightening the hug on your end for a second. "Don't force it, Kuro. I understand."
