Phil POV
It's 1:24am and Dan still hasn't returned home.
Phil's had called,
No answer.
Phil's texted him,
No answer.
Phil even left him a voicemail,
No answer.
Phil let out a groan, where was he!? He was out the whole day, it's now literally the next day!
Phil could feel a mixture of anger and fear growing inside him.
He wanted to scream, but his eyelids were becoming heavy and sleep called to him as he tried to fight against it.
Failing, he falls asleep on the couch.
Phil doesn't hear the door open and a heavily intoxicated Dan stumble inside. He stumbled up the stairs, giggling insanely to himself as he clumsily makes his way to him room, staring at the falling wallpaper and smirking to himself. Falling into the bed he passes out, head pounding and throat burning.
Phil awoke with a jolt. Was Dan home? Was Dan ok?
Quickly he went up the stairs and peered into his room only to be met with a still fully clothed Dan sprawled out on the bed, presumably passed out.
Something else stood out though, something that Phil hadn't smelt around Dan.
Alcohol.
Phil let out a sigh, shaking his head. Dan had gone out and gotten wasted. Phil's concerns only grew but the groan that came from Dan cut Phil away from his thoughts.
"D-Dan? You ok?" Phil internally groaned at the stutter. He wasn't afraid of Dan now, was he? No it's still Dan, right?
Dans turned so that he was facing Phil, anger evident on his once calm and caring features.
"I'm going to give you 20 seconds to get away from my room or else I will throw you out"
"W-what? Dan what's the matter with you?"
"Phil you're testing my patients!"
And with that he quickly closed the door and went to his own room.
He rubbed his fingers to his temples and sighed. He could hear Dan groaning from the other room, probably from a headache from all the drinking. Phil just got up, got dressed and went to work.
