NBSB meets PLAYBOY (complete but not edited)

At 5pm sharp there were a knock at her door. Oh.... the man is on time, he has my respect on that.

She open the door and smirk.

"yep?"

"why you're not dressed?"

"listen and listen very carefully, I told you that I have other plans for tonight, I can't come with you, now if you just listen to my response, you will not be here and waste your time" she rant

Lucas just get inside her place, directly to the living room and settled in the sofa feeling comfortable.

Liza just followed him inside and watch him, seriously? it seems like he's already used of staying in her place.

"aren't you going home? I told you I have other plans"

"no! and I'm not going if you're not going with me tonight, so you better change or I'll be the one to make you change, I am more than willing" he smirked, let's see if who is more stubborn.

"I told you I have plans, and I'm not in the mood of going out!"

"why not tell me about that? it's okay for me to just hangout here, anytime" he smiled

"but I have someone coming over!"

"much better, the more the merrier"

"I know you love me" and wink at her

Liza then stormed to her kitchen making herself busy, while Lucas sitting in comfort watching basketball.

Arggg.. It should be me watching my favorite show in there tonight and eating ice cream, I really hate him!

After an hour passed of ignoring each other Lucas asked "when will your visitor came over, I'm already starving?"

"now that you are starving, you can go" she said plainly

"OK I get it, you don't know how to cook, why you didn't tell me immediately, I'll just order and have a delivery" and get his phone "what do you want?" he asked

"I told you, you can go, I don't need anything from you!"

Lucas just ignore her statement and said "pizza it is" and order, then give the address to the one he's talking.

After ordering Lucas faced her saying, "why is it that I feel like you don't want someone to take care of you?"

Liza was shocked of his question but say "because I was used of being alone, I don't want to be a burden to everyone, I prefer to be the one to take care of everyone not the other way around, I don't want to get used of having someone around, specially you" and she looked at him straight to his eyes and he gestured for her to continue

"how about if you decide to stop doing what you were doing right now, and I'm already used to it? I don't want to get hurt, I don't want to become fragile, that's the reason why I always put my guards up to everyone even to my friends and family, and that's the reason why I live alone because I'm preparing myself for the future, I know my parents will not live forever at least by that time if not totally ready I can cope with the situation, at least I was used of being alone."

Lucas can't believe of what he learned tonight, that behind the tough woman he knows, live a scared and fragile girl inside, Lucas urge to protect her become stronger.

Lucas was happy, he knows that Liza is starting to make her guard down, and open up to him, he feel special because he knows that only him knows what Liza have told him, she trusted him, he see the connection between them and hopefully she will see it too.

Lucas came to Liza and hugged her, he expects her to push him and fight but no, she let him.

Liza was hesitant when Lucas hugs her, she plans to push him but her body betrays her, she hugs back, he tightens the hug and she feels a familiar feeling, safe and home just like when her dad hugs her.
