Early the next day, Lucas meet Luther, Liza's older brother and his friend, he wants to asked Luther's blessings about his intentions for Liza, he wants it to start right.

He don't want to be in Luther's wrong side, it's not that he's afraid of him but he wants to respect him, after all he's Liza's brother.

"are you sure? I know you man, and you know what I mean, Liza is too naive and don't have any experience on having relationships and I don't want her first to be painful, how do you think she can manage that, to tell you she's unpredictable and only dad can tell, when there is wrong with her." Luther said hesitant.

"I assure you, I won't hurt her, if ever she gets hurt it's not intentional, this is the first time I feel like this in any woman, I love her, and you know this is the first time that I am serious with girls, please just one chance man" he said begging

"I'm not sure with this, your a friend and she's my sister and you know who I am going to choose when the situation needed"

"so...are you saying that i have your blessing?" Lucas asked hopeful

"yeah, but I'm watching you man" Luther in a warning tone and add "but you need to asked dad and mom first, you're serious right?" Luther said challenging

"sure, but can you go with me? I want to do it no I have plans, I want to ask her officially on Friday"

"OK, wait for me in the parking I'll finish this quickly"

Lucas just nod and smile, then go directly to the parking.

Lucas meet Liza's dad at the hospital, and the man didn't go easy on him.

"convince me, why should I give my blessings to you, I know your reputation when it comes to women, why?" Leonardo Samuels in his interrogating mode while Luther in one side listening.

"I love her, and I will take care of her with all my life" a simple and direct but direct from the heart answer of Lucas

"a simple love will do young man, the rest will follow naturally" Leonardo said now smiling to Lucas "but always keep this in mind that I will always protect my daughter no matter what it costs, now you have my blessings, make my daughter happy she deserves it long due"

"rest assured sir, and that's a promise, thank you so much"

"do it young man and don't disappoint me, and Leo will do" he said

"I will, and by the way this Friday, it's my moms birthday and I want to ask her officially on that day, I want you to be there, let's say I need a moral support?" he teases

Leo laugh wholeheartedly and promise him that they will be there, and won't miss the day when his daughter will become a nbsn no more.

Lucas was happy, he didn't know that asking the blessings of the family of the one you love is not easy, it takes a lot of guts to do it.

Now one problem solved, only one remaining how to make Liza say yes!
