"he did what?" sohee asked in shock.

"he peed on mr. yoo's car."

"wow, i can't believe little mark lee did that."

"yeah, i can't either," i agreed.

"so what happened after you caught him?" she asked.

"i told him i would tell on him but he said that if i decided not to tell, he would do something for me."

"do something for you? like what?"

"i haven't decided yet. there isn't really anything i need at the moment."

"i can think of something you need," she murmured.

"and what's what?"

"you need a boyfriend."

"what? i don't need a boyfriend," i argued.

"yes, you do! you've never had a real boyfriend."

"what about that one guy?"

"the one from four years ago? the one you met online?" she raised an eyebrow.

"yeah," i shrugged.

"he doesn't count."

"why not?"

"that wasn't a real relationship. you need someone that you can see in person daily. you need someone to take you on dates and buy you things." she said.

"i don't see why i need a boyfriend right now." i pouted.

"hyeyeon, you're not getting any younger."

"so? i have plenty of time to get a boyfriend. i'm focusing on my studies right now."

"stop being like that. i know that you secretly want a boyfriend just as bad as i want you to get one. you just don't want to admit it." she said.

"you're right. i just don't think i'm ready to be in a relationship. i can barely take care of myself." i looked down.

"if you got a boyfriend, he could take care of you so you wouldn't have to worry as much."

"who would i even date?" i asked.

"i don't know. what about one of mark's friends?"

"which one?"

"jaehyun is pretty cute." she smirked.

"yeah, and he's already graduated."

"so? what's the big deal?"

"nothing. forget it," i shook my head.

"so what do you think? want to go after jaehyun?"

"sure. why not?" i shrugged.

"that's my girl!" sohee exclaimed as she put her arm around me.

"if this ends terribly, i'm blaming it all on you," i poked her forehead.

"alright, alright," she pushed my hand away.

"now let's watch those movies."
