Something Else... (TMNT Leo X Reader) (Edited)

You sleep soundly in Leo's room, whimpering softly, you experienced nightmares often and can't shake off the bad feeling you have after each one. The lair was strangely quiet, as you would normally hear yelling, laughing, or even lab explosions, but you heard none of those.

Before you slept,the turtles asked when your birthday was, it was in 4 days now, which you probably didn't notice. They brought it themselves to make gifts and throw a wonderful party, the blue masked turtle's idea actually, since you spent two years of missing birthdays, now they all went their own ways to make you gifts.

First there was Donatello, he was currently thinking of what to give you, but it took him a while.

He tapped his chin in thought, "Hmm.." The genius then got an idea, he would make you a watch that can turn you into human, well leaving you with your wolf ears and tail.

"She'd love this." He said happily and began working, Michelangelo decided to give you a cap, that read 'You Are Awesome',it was not the best gift but the best he could get you. Raphael was giving you a card, not much he can give, but atleast it's a present.

"What will I give her?" Leonardo asked himself, he was your closest friend afterall, he had to give you something special. "Come on Leo, think!" He scolded himself, but knew very well that wouldn't help at all. He searched through his stuff for any possible things, then he spotted his old katana, then a silver chain with blue gems on it. Then he smiled, "I've got my gift."

Meanwhile...

You were in the middle of a dream, or... more like a nightmare.

You were in a dark place, with nothing in sight, as you walk you feel like the room is getting smaller.

"Hello?" You called out, making it echo through the dark place,"Is someone here?"

Suddenly a light flashed, it was really bright, it made you shut your eyes, then standing before you; is the one and only Leonardo.

"Leo?" His eyes were dark red, which was strange,"Leo, is that you?"

"Why did you kill people [Y/N]?" That made your eyes widen,"Why?" He asked one more time.

"What are you talking about?!" You yelled, making him narrow his eyes.

"You killed people, like your family, pet, and even civilians.No wonder nobody likes you." Leo said coldly.

"I was trying my best to control myself Leo! I couldn't control myself, I really didn't want to kill people.. I'd even kill  myself if you guys were killed by me." You finished, looking away.

"Well then, listen up." You look at him. "By the time your birthday comes, your wolf instincts will grow stronger, by any full moon you will turn into full wolf, loosing your human sense. And when you battle the Shredder... things will not end well." Leonardo said.

"What do you mean by 'things will not end well'?" He shook his head slowly."What?"

"You will see for yourself, [Y/N]." Then he unsheathed a katana, making you fold your ears back and step backwards.

"W-What are you doing?" He only continued to step closer to you, with an emotionless look."Leo, what are you doing?!".

"Putting an end to your life.." Leo smiled darkly and raised his katana then slashed it towards you..

Back To You..

You gasp as you wake up, panting softly, you look around and notice it was just a dream."Did Leo mean it?" You asked yourself. "And what did he mean by wolf instincts?" Questions flooded your mind, was Leo telling the future, or was just messing with your head?

You shook your head and looked at the time, it read '6:32 PM', "I'll worry about it later, I better eat."

Leo heard shuffling coming from his room, he turned around smiling, seeing you. "Hey [Y/N],how was your sleep?" You turn your head to Leo's direction and smiled softly.

"Good." You said simply, he nodded, taking the reply.

"Well, do you want dinner?"

"Sure, where are the others?" The absence of Leo's family made you curious, but also confused.

"They're busy doing their own things, and Happy Birthday." He hugged you gently, stroking your soft gray fur.

"Thanks Leo." You snuggle into the embrace.

"What do you wanna eat?" Leo asked,pulling away a few inches.

"Just anything." You roll your eyes playfully with an amused smile, he chuckled softly, saying 'Okay.' by nodding.Your smile faded thinking about your dream.
