“You don’t remember the last time you ate” I almost yelled voicing out my thoughts, she winced at the tone of my voice looking at her tangled fingers on the table.

I felt really bad, “Mikky” I said, my voice softer this time, but she still wasn’t looking at me. “hey” I said trying again, this time she looked at me.

“I’m sorry” I said and she simply nodded and smiled, and I smiled back. I pushed my plate towards her pointing at it, “eat” I said. She eyed the plate but started eating, I smiled approvingly at her and before I knew it she wolfed the whole thing down ”that’s better”.

Mikky’s POV

In minutes everything on my plate disappeared I didn’t know I needed food that bad if it weren’t for Beth.

”Thanks” I said, “you’re welcome, come on you clear the table I’ll do the dishes”  she said getting up from her seat. We ended up clearing the table and doing the dishes together.

Everything was different today,Beth was there to talk to me and force me to eat and help me. I really like her even though I just met her today.

The next morning I woke up early as usual, prepared breakfast but this time I sat in the kitchen with Beth eating breakfast which I hardly do and just talking about anything and everything.

Logan came into the kitchen, I bowed my head while Beth rolled her eyes and continued eating, he stared at her lovingly and with pain in his eyes. I quickly looked away before he could notice. He opened the fridge rummaging through it and Beth was staring at his back with the same look in her eyes, NO WAY THESE TWO ARE MATES. I’m definitely going to ask her later.

We left for school together, when we got there people were staring at us but most of the guys were staring at her and you could hear wolf whistles as we passed.

When we got to the school steps, we found Logan with Brittany clinging onto him and a few football  players around them. 

“hey gorgeous” a football player, Luke said and winked at her ,“hey hotstuff” she flirted back and we walked into school but not before hearing a growl which made her smirk.

“I’ll see you later” Beth said, “okay” I replied and we went our seperate ways. I got my books out of my locker and was on my way to class, I was going through my math homework not paying attention to where I was going when I bumped into someone.

I felt sparks and electric shocks go through my body. My wolf was howling with joy, I bumped into my mate. “Sorry” I mumbled and walked by him, I didnt bother looking up at his face. The pull was getting stronger, I wanted nothing more than to go back to him but he rejected me.

I saw Beth coming out of the office with some papers in her hand looking confused, I walked up to her and gave her directions to her locker where she dumped all her things and got her books for the first period. We have all the same classes.

We were talking when Beth bumped into a girl, she was quite pretty, with her long dark hair grey eyes and her 5”7 frame.

“I’m so sorry” she said picking up Beth’s books,“no no its okay” Beth replied.“I’m Ana” she said waving at us eith a shy smile, “I’m Beth and this is Mikky” she said gesturing to me, I waved and smiled at her.

We were talking and laughing totally forgetting we were in the middle of the hallway, until we heard the warning bell and went our separate ways.

Ariana’s POV

We left our separate ways, they seemed really nice since no girl in school ever talks to me and sometimes I’m bullied by Tasha and her clique but I don’t say anything to Alex, knowing him he could banish them from the pack.

Classes passed by in a blur and it was time for lunch, I was by my locker getting my books when I felt someone snake an arm around my waist and kiss my temple, Hunter.

“Hey babe” he whispered in my ear “hey” I replied and slammed my locker shut. I turned around and he kissed me on my lips but that lasted for a very short time when we heard someone clear their throat. We pulled away to find Alex glaring at us.

"No PDA with my sister in front of me” he said glaring at Hunter. “Whatever man” Hunter said and wrapped his arm round my waist. We were on our way to lunch when I saw Beth and Mikky.

Mikky’s POV

 We were on our way to lunch when Ana waved us over and beside her was Hunter and my mate.

Okay Mikky try your best to ignore him and the pull, but how can I ignore that when my wolf is practically screaming my head off.

I could see Alex visibly tense as Ana approached Beth and I. “hey” we both said at the same time, “hey want to join us for lunch” Ana asked, “sure” Beth answered before I got a chance to say anything. This is going to be a long lunch.
