The Alpha Reject

CHAPTER 6  

Alex’s POV

I left the school grounds, went into the woods and shifted. I ran all the way to the border where I saw Matt, Hunter and a few other warrior wolves from school.

The rogues weren’t exactly on our territory, so we couldn’t attack they were just at the border very close to the pack territory. They were all in wolf form, stupid rogues.

“Why are you on my territory” I asked in my alpha voice, none of them shifted they just stayed there baring their canines at us. Someone stepped out from the trees, someone who I recognize very well.

Blake

“Well technically we are not on your territory” he said and smirked at me and I growled back. “What do you want” I growled out.

“Well a certain alpha just turned eighteen and was meant to find his mate just wanted to say hi to the Luna” he said. The warriors behind me growled, even though they have no idea who their Luna is they still see him as a threat to her and would protect her at all cost.                

“Stay away from my territory Blake” I said in my alpha voice, but he’s a rogue and can’t be affected by it.

He smirked again, ”I promised hell Alpha, and I’ll keep my promise” he said and retreated and so did the wolves with him.

Now here I am in my room pacing, what I do when I’m trying to think. I can’t go close to her if he finds out who she is  she’s dead, but I have to protect her she’s my mate for crying out.

Damn you Blake. My fist connected with the wall leaving a hole just as Matt and Hunter walked in. They didn’t seem surprised by my actions at all.

“We’re doubling patrol and we’ll start training on Saturday” Hunter said “and no one is allowed to run anywhere close to the border” Matt finished.

We discussed the issue for a while before they finally left. I was alone again, the only thing that came to mind was Mikky her soft skin pink lips and long hair that I just want to run my fingers through, but thinking about Blake hurting her made all the anger come back.

Mikky’s POV

“Yes” she answered.

“I knew it” I yelled jumping on her bed, but the pain in my stomach made me stop and I winced a bit which Beth noticed and smirked at me.

“But then why aren’t you two together” I asked confused, she seemed reluctant before answering my question. “I rejected him” she said with a shrug.

“What? Why?” I asked, really wanting to know. She sighed “I can’t tell you now, but what I can tell you is that he’s a jerk who doesn’t deserve to be called alpha” she said angrily, her eyes turning a darker shade. She took a deep breath trying to calm herself. She opened her eyes and they were back to normal.

“Come on, you need to rest I’ll help you to your room” she helped me up to my room, we stayed there for a while talking until she left and I fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning, my bruises had healed thanks to my wolf and the bruises weren’t as bad as usual so they healed pretty fast.

I made breakfast and waited for Beth, she finally came down and we left for school. We sat down with Ana and Hunter during lunch but Alex didn’t sit with us this time, he wasn’t even in school today and I was worried.

I really wanted to ask but its none of my business, he can be hurt for all I care. No he can’t he’s okay if he wasn’t Ana won’t be here, he’s alright.

I went on with my lunch but I still kept thinking about him, I just hope he’s okay. I know he rejected me but I can’t help but be worried about him.

When we got back to the pack house no one was home, except a few mothers and their kids. “Hey want to go for a run in wolf form” Beth asked. Do I go on with the façade or do I tell her the truth, cause I think I can trust her.

“Beth….I can’t shift” I said looking down at my feet, I was waiting for her to laugh to insult me and become like them, bullying me. Instead I felt arms wrap around me pulling me into a warm hug.

We pulled away and she smiled at me. Her phone rang and she went up to her room to answer it while I went to the kitchen.

I was in the middle of cooking lunch when Brittany came in, she glared at me went to the fridge and took a bottle of water. She sat down at the island in front of me, talk about déjà vu.

“Look you little slut, don’t think you can get away with what you did yesterday” she spat, and what exactly won’t I get away with. Beth punched her in the face and she totally deserved it. “You are still a weak pathetic human” she laughed and I had to hold back a growl.

‘We are not weak or pathetic’ Gracie growled in my head. “You’re just like your parents pathetic and weak no wonder they died” she said laughing.

She knew nothing about my parents she has no right to say that. My parents were strong they loved this pack and they died protecting it, by now Gracie was clawing at me to give her control and I did.

I didn’t care anymore about them finding out I was a wolf, she insulted my parents and she was going to pay for it.

A very menacing growl escaped my lips, my claws and canines extended and I’m very sure my eyes were pitch black.

She stood up knocking down the chair behind her trying to get away, she looked really scared and shocked. Gracie smirked in satisfaction, but all of a sudden Brittany decided to stand her ground.

‘She just signed her own death’ Gracie said in my head, Brittany snarled at me and lunged for me, I easily dodged her. She turned around and growled and tried to lunge at me again, I caught her by her neck and backed her up against the wall. She clawed at my arm but that only made me tighten my grip.

“Now listen here you bitch, don’t you ever and I mean ever speak bad about my parents” I said in a very low threatening voice. I heard gasps come from behind me, I turned around my grip still on her neck, to see Logan, Tyler and Bryce.

They all had their jaws hanging open as they stared at the scene in front of them. I turned back to Brittany, all I wanted to do was kill her, for everything she’s done to me. “Put her down right now” Logan said in his alpha voice but that didn’t affect me and I didn’t  release her. 

She was there right in front of me, I could just end her here and now. I felt a hand on my shoulder and I knew it was Beth, “she’s not worth it” she whispered to me and she’s right.

She really isn’t worth it, Brittany’s face was deadly pale It looked like she was about to pass out, I released my hold on her and she slumped to the floor choking.

I turned around to face Beth and the guys, their faces still held shock. Beth put her hands on my shoulder, “calm down, just take a deep breath” I closed my eyes trying to calm myself.

I felt my canines and claws go back. I opened my eyes finally calm, Beth smiled at me and pulled me into a hug, not what I was expecting. I expected her to be angry for lying to her.

“What the hell happened here” Logan yelled, my wolf was still in a pissy mood and she was tierd of the disrespect, this was the last straw, no one and I mean no one insults my parents.

 I ran out of the house and didn’t look back even with Beth calling my name.
