682 stopped with his fist just inches away from 999 and (Y/n). "What the fuck, dude?! They are a D-Class! You know what we do to their kind."
"But," the boy looked between (Y/n) and 682, "they're one of us now! (Y/n) lives with us. They are our roommate! W-we can't... We..."
Cassy stepped up, "we have to stick together. No fights. It creates a bad atmosphere for everyone who lives here." 682 silently glared at the three of them but stopped when he saw the terrified look on Terry's face.
It took him a moment to respond. Then again, it wasn't an actual response, he just growled. Larry, being the only other Keter class, was on board with what 682 was going to do. He wasn't pissed off though. The two men left the room to prevent themselves from murdering the poor human. 682 pushed (Y/n) out of the way.
(I saw an amazing pic of 049 which I prefer over the original idea I had. He reminds me of Lucien Lachance--)
Terry smiled and apologized for 682. "He's super sweet when you get to know him, I promise!"
"Then why does he keep rejecting my advantages? We know each other super well~" Billy, hopefully, joked.
Needless to say, breakfast was awkward. (Y/n) made sure to stick near Cassy, because Terry left to follow 682. Cassy remained quiet, thinking of different possibilities as to why (Y/n) was here. Why they were forced to room with SCP's could be because there was no other sleeping place, but why would they be here.
"Cassy," speak of the devil, "seriously, why do you guys dislike Class-D?"
Cassy thought for a moment, "it's not that we don't like them. It's just, most of them are assholes. Rapists, murderers, pedophiles, that kind of stuff. But you," she gestured to the person's entire body, "you seem like none of those." (Y/n) didn't know how to respond to that, other than a slightly embarrassed blush. Cassy bit her lip and stared into (Y/n)'s eyes, "tell you what. Later we'll go ask 079 if he knows why you're here, okay?"
"I don't know who that is but okay."
SCP-079 was currently sitting on his bed, laptop on his knees, and typing away. What he was doing was a mystery, but who cares? The male decided he was just going to stay in instead of sneaking out to go chill with 682 and 999. SCP-939 hated when he just disappeared. They acted like they were in control of the place, which he has way more authority than them, and it bugged the crap out of him. But he kept his mouth shut. No use for fighting with SCP's who have their mind set on one thing and one thing only, am I right?
There was a knock on his door. "Who is it?" The black and white haired male called out, not looking up from his computer.
"Cassy. Please let me in, I don't want to risk being seen by Sally or Jeremy-" the black haired girl barely got to finish her sentence when the door in front of her swung open. She casually walked in, pulling (Y/n) behind her. The door closed.
"Nice to see you, Cassandra. This the new student?" Said girl nodded. "Why'd you bring them here?"
(Apologies if I use her/she pronouns. My intent was for this to be for girls but in this world who fucking knows. Plus there aren't many fanfics for SCP like this from what I've read :P)
Cassy scratched at her wrist, "well... It's only their second, technically first day and...as you can see they're-"
"You want me to tell you why your friend is a D-Class?" 079 cut her off, like usual. "Let's see," he started to type again. (Y/n) whispered into Cassy's ear, asking what his name was. Cody, she had answered. "Oh..."
Cassy looked concerned, "what? What does it say?? What did (Y/n) do?"
"It doesn't say anything about why they're here," he looked to (Y/n), "how much do you remember doing before you came here?"
(Y/n) furrowed their eyebrows, "not much. I got into a fight with a friend then was watching tv with my family. Next thing I know I'm here."
"Why'd you fight with this friend?"
"They, uh... I don't really remember. Come to think of it, I don't even remember their face. Were we even friends?" The human asked them self more than the other two in the room.
The room was silent, aside from Cody's typing. Cassy looked at her roommate weirdly, hoping for the best. Even though it's only been almost a day, she really liked the (boy/girl). It was nice having another person to feel safe around. To not worry about trying to harm her in her sleep, like her last roommate.
Suddenly, the door to Cody's room opened, revealing another man... A scary man...
