"Yo, Cody," the scary man spoke, not looking at the others in the room, "Jade was wondering if you could- oh, you have company."

Cassy gave a small smile and waved at the man, as did Cody, who was still typing. (Y/n) was trying their best to hide away from this stranger, which didn't work. "Who's that?" He pointed to the (boy/girl). Cassy was about to say but Cody spoke first.

"New kid. Don't worry about it," he closed his laptop and stared directly at the other, "what did Jade want?"

(Y/n) pulled at the back of Cassy's jacket. "He's creepy." That earned a giggle from Cassy. Not bothering to give them an answer Cassy was waiting to hear what 'Jade' wanted.

"Uh, she," the man kept looking back and forth between Cody, Cassy, and (Y/n).

Rolling his eyes, Cody replied, "spit it out, Drake." Drake, huh? I'll have to remember that.

"It's kind of...private I suppose." Huffing, Cody stood up and left his room.

Many minutes had passed before Cody came back. "Sorry about that," he went back to his computer. "After doing a bit of digging, I found a little bit of information about our friend here."

"Really?!" (Y/n) and Cassy both yelled.

He turned the laptop around, showing the screen. It was (Y/n)'s (Twitter/Facebook/Instagram). "You used to work at an ice cream shop?" Even though he made an effort not to laugh, (Y/n) frowned.

"Yeah, what's so funny about that?"

"Nothing, nothing. I'm just imagining you in a very stereotypical uniform with a little ice cream cone headband." Cassy let out a short laugh but immediately stopped when the (boy/girl) shot her a look.

"You don't use your account very often, and thanks to your lack of posts, there isn't much I can find besides very vague interests. Markiplier, huh?"

Suddenly feeling like they had a major lack of privacy, (Y/n) excused their self and Cassy. Cody never even muttered a 'bye' or 'good riddance' as the two scurried through the door and back to their dorm.

"I apologize for him. Cody is a bit... I dunno..." (Y/n) shook it off and sat on the couch next to...oh great.

"(Y/n)! What a lovely surprise~ I was beginning to worry that 939 got to ya!" Billy smiled. Not really in the mood to deal with the SCP, (Y/n) turned on the TV to watch the news. "Hey, don't ignore me," they could practically hear him frown. On the news was the talk of some guy who murdered a bunch of orphans. His name was Bob Sawyer, a 29-year-old man who appeared to some sort of Nazi considering all of the children were Jewish (cough cough my friend and I were walking home and talking about things we created and he decided to make an OC for my world before I even finished it and this is just one thing that he said).

(Y/n) had enough of the story and switched to (Channel of your Choice). The show that was playing was one of their personal favourites. Billy clearly did not like it, they could tell. The SCP rolled off the couch, stood up, walked to the kitchen, dropped something, then proceeded to go to his room and do something. Cassy joined (Y/n) with a bowl of (Snack), saying she too enjoyed the show.

A certain amount of time had passed when Sheldon had joined them! Cassy excused herself to the bathroom, leaving (Y/n) and the shy guy alone.

"Um...hello..." they quietly spoke, never really having much interaction with the SCP. "I don't think we properly met..."

He didn't respond.

"I'm (Full Name)." (Y/n) extended their hand, hoping Sheldon would accept it.

Nothing.

"Well, uh... alright then, heh heh..." Luckily, Cassy came back and relieved the tension in the atmosphere. Even though it was less awkward, (Y/n) couldn't help but think about Sheldon. They made it a personal goal to get the SCP to open up to them and accept them as a friend.

I guess you could say the thought of befriending SCP-096 filled (Y/n) with...determination. (I DESPISE UNDERTALE)
