Geno: *continues glaring*

Ink: i'll...go... *teleports away*

It's funny how when you take weight off of one end of the scale, the other side collapses.

Ink: ... *reaches forward, pressing *Do not*... *gulps* *stands up* *chases after Error*

Error: *preparing to step through a portal*

Ink: *roughly grabs his humerus* waIT!

Error: *snaps around, pushing his arm off* what?! *glares* what do ya want? wanna lecture me more? wanna tell me how "wrong" i am?

Ink: well, yes and no. i nee-

Error: save it, rainbow *ss. *turns around again*

Ink: *forces Error to face him again* you aren't going anywhere until you hear me out! *furrows brows*

Error: you ain't gonna change my mind.

Ink: i don't care, i just want you to see my side.

Error: fine. whatever. just start talkin' before i loose my will t'live.

Ink: *let's go of Error* okay. so, did you ever consider the fact that geno still has a chance? that as long as he's alive, it can get better? well did you?

Error: yes i did! did you ever consider that he might not be able to get better? he's tried everything. it's better just to put an end to it before he gets more hurt. it's what he WANTS. he WANTS the world to be erased. i'd be doing him a favor.

Ink: just because he wants it, doesn't mean it's right!

Error: well, it don' mean it's wrong either.

Ink: *balls up fists around his paintbrush* it doesn't matter what's right and wrong! what matters is, he has HOPE! he just needs to understand that there is still HOPE!

Error: just 'cause it's there, don't mean they can find it. sometimes you just gotta let go and give up.

Ink: giving up is NEVER the option! there is always something good left! nothing is ever hopeless! unless you end their lives, there will always be a way to fix it! and death... that's something no one wants.

Error: except for geno. he wants it to be over, he realizes that he needs to be erased. the timeline is corrupted with mistakes and errors, there is no point in trying to fix it if it'll never be the same again.

Ink: just because it won't be the same, that doesn't mean that it can't get better.

Error: nothin' is gonna get better. not with the state of mind those people are in. unless they suddenly changed, it can't get better. they've given up, so it's my job to go in and finish what they've started.

Ink: no it's not!

Error: yes, yes it is. not like it matters anyways, considering none of this is even f*cking real.

Ink: *shuts his mouth*

Error: what, no snarky come-backs, mr. hope? did reality finally hit you? that all we are is thoughts in people's heads?

Ink:... *looks at Error emptily* just because we aren't real, doesn't mean we don't feel real.

Error: who cares what a buncha teens think? they'll forget 'bout us in a few years, then it's gonna be GAME OVER anyways.

Ink: but-

Error: stop trying to play superman, and wake up! you ain't no man of steel, and you ain't gonna change the fact that nothing we do will ever matter.

Ink:...just because it won't ever do anything in the real world, it doesn't mean that it still doesn't affect people... there are thousands of people who look to us for entertainment, to laugh, or cry, or even convince them not to do something cowardly. don't you get it, we need to show them that there's hope!

Error: we also need to show them that sometimes you need to let go.

Ink:...

Error: we need to show balance, ink. if you keep this up, your side will always be heavier than mine. that's not how it works.

Ink: *voice softens* but... i don't want to give up on geno... he deserves better.

Error; *looks away* a lot of people do, it doesn't mean they get it. you need to accept that.

Ink: *looks at his hands* i.. i don't want to.

Error: ... *walks over to ink* i... i get it...

Error: how you're thinking. i know you want to do what feels right, but sometimes you need to let logic show ya what to do.

Ink: but, it doesn't have to be like this! can't we give him some more time? just... see what happens? *looks at Error pleading*

Error: *is thinking about it*..ya know what...fine, we'll compromise. you can have your way for now, but... if things don't get better, you have to let me do my job.

Ink:...*quietly*...deal.

Error:  *awkward laugh* geez, don't need to make it seem like a death sentence...oh, wait-

Ink: oh, ha ha, very funny. *rolls eye-lights*

Error: i know, i'm hilarious. *brings back his portal* welp, we'll see what happens, rainbow *ss. *pauses, looking Ink over before he teleports away*
