Over, and Over Again

Derek Shepard POV

"Alright see you tomorrow morning for rounds Mr. Pinn." I say to my last patient of the day, and I walk out of his room and make my way to my office.

I sit down at my desk and fill out some notes and paperwork.

After I finish, I clean my desk up and go into the other room to change so I can go home.

***few minutes later or however long it takes men to change***

I look at my phone and see a got a text and a voicemail from Mer. The text says she was just taking off and then about two hours later she left a voicemail for me. I wonder why as I click on it to listen to it.

D-Derek there's two men on this plane who are heading towards the cockpit with guns. I don't know what's going to happen but I just wanted to say I-I love you and Zola so much.
Then I hear several loud bangs and continuos gunshots.

"Shit" Meredith says and I hear sort of a whizzing noise then a really loud bang like he pane got hit or something. I think she might be putting her phone in her pocket because I hear the sound of fabric gliding against the phone and a zipper.

The gunshots continue and I hear bangs, clashes and whizzing noises. I hear the sound of the fabric as well probably from the phone shaking around. I hear one final huge bang and an explosion type noise then the voicemail ends.

I pull the phone away from my ear, my face pale like I saw a ghost. I swallow and look at my phone. It's been a few hours since that voicemail was sent.

I walk out of my office and straight to Cristina.

I'm partly in shock so when I walked up to Cristina I couldn't say anything and I just handed her my phone.

Cristina Yang POV

"Derek? What... what are you doing?" I ask my best friends husband as he shoves his phone in my hands. I look down and see he has pulled up a voicemail from Meredith. I get worried when I look back up and his is pale and he doesn't say anything. I look back down at the phone and click on the voicemail, bringing his phone up to my ear.

D-Derek there's two men on this plane who are heading towards the cockpit with guns. I don't know what's going to happen but I just wanted to say I-I love you and Zola so much.
There's bangs, crashing and gunshots throughout the voicemail, the sound of Mer putting her phone in her pocket, a "shit" from her and then a really loud bang and explosion at the end.

My person. My person. My person. Is all I can think of as I pull the phone away.

"Oh my god." I say shocked. I look up at Derek and he doesn't look to great then all of a sudden he collapses to the floor.

"Derek!" I yell.

"Somebody get me a gurney!" I yell out to anybody and everybody.

"On it!" Mousey yells back. Another nurse comes and helps Mousey and I get Derek up onto the gurney and we wheel him down the hall to trauma.

"What happened!?" Owen asks confused.

"He fainted in the hallways after... uh."

"After what?" He demands.

"Meredith left him a voicemail and..."

"And what?" Owen asks, his voice stern.

"I think her plane crashed th-the voicemail ended with a loud bang and an explosion.
"I say and Owen's face drops.

"Well uh I'll take a look at Dr. Shepard and hook him up to an iv then move him into a room if everything's okay." He says and moves towards Derek. I stand there for a few seconds then I walk up to counter and lean on it, covering my head with my arms still holding Derek's phone.

"Yang you alright." Bailey asks and it startled me. My head shoots up and I must have a look on my face because of Bailey's next comment.

"What happened did anybody die?" She asks. "I... I don't know." I say and Bailey just looks confused. "We're pretty sure Meredith's plane crashed." I say sadly. "What you do you mean 'we're pretty sure?'" She says and so hand her the phone.

After the voicemail in over she hands it back to me and has that same look on her face.

"Where's Derek?" She asks breaking the silence.

"Passed out over there." I say and point in his direction.

"When should her plane have landed?"

"Right about now." I answer. Bailey takes off towards the residents room and I follow.

She comes bursting through the door completely ignoring shirtless Alex and pant less Arizona. April, Jackson and Callie are also here.

"Dr. Bailey!" Alex yells. Bailey searches for the remote and swipes it off a chair then quickly turns the tv on turning to the news channel.

And now let's turn back to Daniel who will update us on the missing plane.

Flight number 232 on its way from Seattle to Virginia  was supposed to land right about now but signals stopped coming in three hours again and the plane is MIA. (Lets all pretend airplanes have cameras) Here is a videotape form one of the security cameras on the plane.
**a video plays** Two men walk up to the cockpit and then later the plane experiences severe turbulence then the video cuts out.

I see Meredith sitting in her seat mia kind of staring off into nothing then these two guys walk down each aisle which catches Meredith's attention and then there's a gunshot and Meredith whips out her phone. There's more gunshots and bangs and Meredith slides her phone into her jacket pocket. Her face looks pale and scared which I have only seen from her a couple times. Her body gets jerked back and forth in her chair as turbulence overrules the plane. There are a few people who are being thrown all over the plane who weren't sitting down. The plane kind of ashamed then comes to a stop and drops a lot and Meredith's head is thrown against the seat and she's knocked out. Then the plane had more turbulence and the footage cuts outs.

"Oh my god." Alex says as Bailey shuts the tv off.
