Zayn hadn't long been home from tour, maybe a week and a half and you'd missed him, it was perfect with him around, he rarely left your side only this time it was because he was fetching you something from the bedroom the two of you shared.

You were sat on the sofa, reading a book, this was a tricky task considering you had a 6 month old baby in your stomach, you felt it kick, Zayn hadn't yet felt this.

'Zayn!' You yelled up the stairs.

'Zayn! Zayn!' You shouted again, getting panicky in case your baby stopped kicking. You tried to get up but the baby was still going strong so you were paralysed for a few minutes, you remained on the sofa until Zayn got there running your swollen belly waiting for it to stop. You had a scan tomorrow and it was the first one that Zayn was coming to as well, it was kind of exciting as you'd decided to be told the sex.

'What's wrong babe?' He shouted back, you heard footsteps on the stairs he seemed to be running down two at a time tripping over in the doorway,he came and stood in front of you, first you laughed at his face but then you grabbed his wrists and watched his facial expression as his baby daughter kicked your stomach. There was a stunned silence and your own face dropped as you started to think that Zayn didn't like it, but his mouth turned into a smile you knew he loved it.

'That's magical.' He whispered, struggling to get anything out with the tears brimming in his eyes, his hands hadn't left your belly as the baby continued to kick you. One finally escaped his eye and he wiped it ferociously away from his skin.

You smiled up at him and he leant down kissing your lips with a lot of passion.

'You're going to make a fantastic dad.' He kissed you on the forehead and helped you up off the sofa before you went for a shower together.

'And you an amazing mother Alex.' Zayn grinned before grabbing your swollen hand and pulling you up the stairs.
