----Past----

"Ehh!?" Yourself and Ruka look at Mao shocked and afraid.

Mao stood proudly in front of a tree. He stared at it confidently.

It was a decently large tree. Set in a park, on a hill, looking over the city.

"What do you mean you want us to climb the tree?" You questioned.

"Why not? I leave tomorrow to go back to China. You go back to your country too. I think to finish off our adventures in Japan, we need to climb a tree." Mao declares.

"You can't be serious. It's so big!" Ruka tries to stop Mao. It doesn't work.

Mao ignored his two new friends and climbed the tree.

His friends reluctantly climbed the tree.

-----Moments later-----

"I want down." You cry.

"Get me down from here." Ruka cries. Both yourself and Ruka hugged each other as you sat on a branch in the tree.

"It's so nice up here." Mao comments.

Then, a crack could be heard.

The three seven year olds all gasp. Mao was quick to grab onto the upper branch.

You grabbed onto the tree trunk and Ruka grabbed onto you.

"Ahh ah waa!" Ruka and (Y/n) cried.

Mao looked away from his friends and at the city.

He stared in awe.

"Hey, hey look!" He calls for his friends attention.

The two quiet down their crying and stare at what Mao is referring too.

They are all silent as they stare in awe at the sunset. It made the city look so pretty.

One thing for sure, Mao and (Y/n) are gonna miss Japan.

-----Present-----

"Look." You grab Ruka's hand and point at a tree.

He looks over at the tree and smiles.

The two of you were taking a walk. You we're meeting up with Mao at the exact same park the three of you saw the sunset together.

"Hey. Trying to relive memories without me?" Mao walks over.

You smile.

"Never." You grasp hands with Mao.

The three of you take a deep breathe, and bow, "Thank you very much."

Then, you faded away.

The two left are silent.

"It's weird. Sometimes...I still feels like she's here." Ruka says quietly.

"I think she was. She had to go back." Mao spoke.

The two frown, "Why did she have to die?"
