Resorting of Gryffindor

"Wake up Harry. You've slept in. Hermione and Ron are waiting for you outside the painting." Draco announced as he burst through the door. 

Harry opened his eyes and yawned. Draco watched amused as he got up and stretched like a dog. 

"Come on sparky. Get dressed. Should I do your hair today?" He asked. Harry sat up and shook his head.

"If they're waiting, I should probably head off. But tomorrow I will definitely swing by your room." Harry flashed a smile.

He grabbed his clothes and messily got dressed. 

"Bye Draco. See you later." And Harry was gone. Draco rolled his eyes and picked a book off his shelf and proceeded to read it on his bed.

Harry walked out of the common room and met with Hermione and Ron. They walked together quietly and entered the room of requirement.

"So have you tried morphing!?" Ron asked them excitedly.

Both nodded their head. "It was very peculiar." 

Before any warning, Ron turned into his dog form and bounced around. 

Hermione turned into a crow mid air and flew around. Harry wanted to get into the excitement and he turned into a black fox.

The two looked at him oddly. To surprise them, Harry evaporated his body into the cloud of black smoke with green eyes. The two were surprised but Hermione quickly changed back.

"I knew it. You are some kind of creature!" She exclaimed happily.

Harry concentrated his body form and then dissipated his legs and de-solidified his body a little.

He floated towards Ron, and Ron was in a pouncing stance. Harry rolled his body around and kept his head still, then twirled his head around. 

Ron got excited and tried to pounce on Harry. All that happened was Ron jumped right through the smoke and Harry gathered in another area.

He concentrated his body and then turned back to normal.

"I may or may not have woken up last night and played around with my form." Harry confessed. Ron transformed and gave him a pat on the back.

"Good job mate. You are even weirder than before." Ron joked. 

"So what names have you thought of?" Harry asked them.

"Beaky seems fitting." Hermione decided.

"Skipper! I've always wanted that name." Ron said excitedly.

"Fumus. Means smoke in latin." Harry decided.

"Perfect. Oh, should we call each other by their code names. That would be fun." Hermione suggested.

"Might as well. And I'm sure Ron has no obligations to that." Harry said looking to the obviously excited Ron.

Hermione smirked. "Let's pay Hagrid a visit, shall we." 

The three turned into their animal forms and headed out of the room. Harry decided to keep a completely solid form so he didn't scare anyone on the way.

Both Ron and Harry ran beside each other as Hermione soared above them.

They passed a couple of students and they seemed very confused.

"Why is there a dog, a fox, and a crow in the castle?" Some girl asked.

"Who knows. Probably strays."

The group found an exit and ran outside towards Hagrid's hut.

As they advanced, Harry and Ron stopped at his door. They both started to scratch at the wood and made some noise while Hermione started squawking.
