Harry waited for a weeks-time for his new home to be secured, and he couldn't be happier. He had spent most of his time packing up books from the Black Manor library to place in his new home, and he looked around for any keepsakes that may have been left out.
Hermione visited Harry a couple of times, but she mostly ended up reading on his couch. It was finally the day that Harry could move in. Be packed up all his personal belongings into a couple trunks, and waited for Draco.
He finally arrived, and he had many different types of trunks, bags, and cases. Compared to Harry, he looked like he had enough for three people.
"You ready?" Harry asked. Draco was fairly nervous, but mostly excited.
"Take me away." He joked. Draco held onto Harry's arm, and they apperated to the manor.
Draco got his balance back, and looked at the manor standing before them.
"Do you like it?" Harry asked anxiously.
"I love it! It's gorgeous." Draco exclaimed. He jumped into Harry's arms and gave him a hug.
The two walked up the steps and Harry unlocked the door, leading Draco inside. The place was just as clean as the last time. The inside was bright yet warm feeling. The floors were a dark colored wood, while the walls were green Fleur-de-lis patterns, and the carpet on the stairs were red. The railing for the stairs were a matching dark wood color that curved to the second floor.
"Wow. This is amazing. There's so much color." Draco said, happy with the interior. Harry and Draco walked around and got the tour for the home.
The living room had a red rug in the middle with matching red furniture. The sofa had a mahogany frame and black buttons. The chairs looked like thrones almost, with padded arm rests being propped up by gold busts of a knight's helmet. The second story continued the green wallpaper and red furniture. There were two rooms, and both had matching canopy bed frames and red and silver colored sheets and duvets.
The bathroom were kept in great condition, and had a large tub and small shower.
"This place is amazing. Everything looks to be in such great condition, and it even smells nice in here." Draco marveled.
"I'm glad you like it. I thought this manor would be the perfect place to live in, given it's condition. It's actually the oldest of the manors in my estate. The rest are just very run down manors and castles. It would take an army to fix them." Harry explained.
"Let's get our stuff and unpack." Draco said excitedly, leading Harry back to the floo. It was now designed so you could only floo out of the manor, and not into. They flooed back to the manor to grab their belongings, and accioed back to bring them inside.
As soon as they did, they were greeted by the presence of an old house elf.
"Let me pack your belongings, sirs." The house elf insisted.
They placed the items down for him. "Thank you. What is your name?" Harry thanked. The elf seemed very surprised that Harry even spoke to him.
"My name is Modry." The elf said before leaving in a clap of thunder. The bags were gone, and so was he.
"House elves. Wonderful." Draco seemed happy of the prospect of house elves.
Harry and Draco walked to the living room and relaxed on the sofa. Harry leaned down and laid his head on Draco's lap, resting his legs on the sofa. Draco intertwined his fingers in Harry's hair, and twirled his hair.
The two stayed there for awhile, and ended up taking a nap on the couch. They decided to take it easy the rest of the day, and they read in the large library on the second floor. Harry recognized some of the Black Manor books on the shelves, and knew they were packed up. The library was a small room covered in built in shelves with books stacked tightly together. There were more of the red furniture, a even a couple lounge chairs.
By the time dinner time rolled around, they had a full meal waiting for them in the dinning room. They both finished and headed to bed. Harry and Draco realized at the same time that they needed to sort out the situation of who's sleeping where. They looked in the first room and realized that neither of their possessions in the room. They moved to the next room, and all of their possessions were neatly tucked away in their own wardrobe and dresser.
"Do you mind sharing the room together?" Harry asked Draco. But Draco was already looking through the drawers for his pajamas.
They both got dressed, Draco in expensive warm pajamas and Harry in a tee shirt and boxers. They both slipped into the bed and huddled next to each other. Draco wrapped his arms around Harry's waist, and buried his face in his chest. Harry draped his arms over Draco, and the lights turned off.
"Goodnight Draco."
"Goodnight Fumus." Draco smirked.
