"Morning." I say groggily. "Morning."

"So, what are we going to do today?" He asks.

Recently crimes been at a stop, it's very strange. So I don't need to use my powers. I haven't used them since game night.

"Well I'm going to go back to Catco. If James is still the boss than I might have a shot of getting my job back." I reply. "Then let me rephrase that. What am I going to do today."

I laugh. "That's your decision." Mon El groans. "Well if you're jobbing than so should I." I laugh. "Jobbing?"

"Yeah jobbing, searching for a job.." I chuckled. "Well let's start jobbing then."

At Catco...

I walked in and everyone started staring at me. "Wow she's back." I hear a man say. I immediately know who it is. Snapper. I sigh.

"Yes, in back!" I reply trying to sound happy. "You're fired." He says.

I started to stutter but then James butted in.

"Actually she's not. She took a 6 month break for family reasons." I was shocked, but I nod my head playing along.

"And she has the latest story about the alien spacecraft hovering above National City." He says.

"Oh right! Eye witness accounts, police source spoke on record, and researched economics and demographic indicators. Whatever that means..." I exclaim.

He takes a deep breath. There is a long silence. "Fine you got your job back." He skims through the pages. "And next time don't do it so sloppily." I walk away really happy, and James follows me.

"You almost got yourself fired there." He bellows. "I had it under control." I lied. "Crinkle".

I hate that stupid crinkle. I should really get Botox for that, if they can get a needle in my skin.

"I was going to tell him that!" I stated. "Before or after security guards try to get you to leave." He smirks.

I huffed, "You know what, whatever. I need to make sure Mon-El hasn't blown up a building yet."

"What?" He asked. "He's going jobbing." He sighs. "Yeah you should probably go..." I nodded then left.

Even though James isn't the boss anymore, because Cat is back. He still has a lot of respect and authority.

I got on the elevator and started to call Mon-El.

"Hello this is Mon- Mike! Mike speaking."

"Mon-El, how's job searching going?" I ask.

"Oh Kara it's going great! I already have a job."

"Im surprised. How did you get one so quickly?!"

"Come down to the alien bar and I'll tell you how."
