Chapter 7~ Ariel

My dad left the room about ten minutes ago to go talk to the doctors, this left me time alone to think. Who was Eric? How did I know him?

The door to my room in the hospital opened and it the doorway was a boy with dark hair and bright blue eyes like my own. He was really cute! I felt the sudden urge to kiss him on his perfect lips.

"Hi... Um you're name is Amanda right?"

"Yes. Who are you?"

"I'm Ethan. I'm the boy who saved you... Wow that made me sound really full of myself." He said before laughing.

Wait a second. His name isn't Eric?

"Thank you..." I said with smile.

"No problem! When I saw you in the water you looked kind of... well... dead. So I dove in to get you."

" How come I've never seen you around school before?" I asked.

" I don't know... Weird right?"

"Yeah... "

The door opened again cutting our awkward conversation off.

My dad walked in with a nurse.

"Alright sweetie. The doctor said that you can come home so the nurse is going to unhook you from the equipment."

"Ok Dad. Ethan do you have a ride home?"

"Yeah I drove over here in my car..."

As the nurse unhooked me, the door opened once again and standing in the doorway was my boyfriend, Brandon.

" Amanda! How are you? Are you ok? Are you hurt? Who's he?"

" Brandon, I already told you I'm okay... I'm actually heading home now. Umm... this is Ethan. He rescued me when I had the concussion yesterday."

" Oh... ok." he replied.

Wow awkward much? My boyfriend and a cute guy in the same room together...

"Ok well dad... Let's go home. I'll see you two at school. Thank you for saving me Ethan. And thank you for checking on me Brandon. Bye..."

"Bye... " they said in sync.
