You're all I need (Carltine)

Clementine and Glenn looked at eachother shocked. Clementine couldn't believe someone in her first group....her FIRST group was alive..this made her so happy...made her feel so protected in someway. Glenn hurried over to the girl and hugged her but not to tight. Clem hugged him back with her free arm smiling to herself, Glenn let go and so did Clementine. Carl looked at the two in surprise and confusion written all over his face. "Glenn...you know this girl? "Carl asked the older Asian male. Glenn nodded still shocked "yeah... ever since she was 8 years old.."

Glenn looked down at Clem his eyes widened to finally realize she was holding a baby in her arms. "Clementine...is..is the baby yours?" He asked carefully in fear of her answer.... Clementine's eyes widened in shock when she realized what he meant by 'hers' "No no no! He's a Friend's but...their gone now. She answered him. Clem answered looking down at the now silent baby in her arms remembering Rebecca and Alvin. She sighed AJ must've cried himself to sleep...poor thing...

Glenn and Carl looked at her then at each other and nodded "Clementine ...how many walkers have you killed ..?"Glenn asked waiting for her answer . Clem looked confused but answers any way "I don't know a couple dozen ...hard to keep count now...why?" She answers "How many people have you killed ?" Carl asked sharply "Three....just...three..." she answers softly to carl . "why?" They both asked. Clementine sighed and looked down for a moment horrible memories flooding back into her mind....this caused her to almost tear up but she stopped herself "one....kidnaped me...and ...he was trying to kill my friend and.....I...i shoot him...and then I found out he was bit...and he asked me to and the other was to save another's life...I..I had no choice..." She answers. 

Glenn looks at her his eyes hold sadness and downright shock in his eyes....this little girl went through all of this at such a young age....killed people..he didn't even kill his first person yet...  Carl nodded slowly looking at her for a moment he felt some kind of connection to her but he shook his head and spook "wanna come with us?" Carl asked her . Clementine looked down at AJ he was asleep blood and tear stains on his small face. This could fall apart again ....she could be alone again...watch the people she cares about die in an instant...did she really want that...again...risk opening up to people....Then she looked at Glenn and Carl...she felt like this group they have wouldn't fall..she looked down at AJ one more time.... . she needed this he mostly needed this. "Yes "she answers causing Glenn to smile and Carl to nod his head as he says "follow us you're safe now."

Safe....but for how long...?
