I was in the corridor hiding between lockers as usual, skipping class. I really wasn't a fan of school and lately I really couldn't be bothered.
I heard one of the classroom doors open down the corridor.
I stuck my head out to see Anastacia run out the door, stop and lean against the wall.
She leaned back and put her face in hands.
I stepped back into my hiding spot, finding the sight of a girl who is obviously crying a bit awkward.
I probably should go up and say something to her...but what?
I mean I'm pretty sure I know exactly why she's crying and I'm pretty sure she doesn't like me much...thanks to Matt.
As I stood there my mind wandered and I thought briefly of her friend Lilah, I hadn't told anyone this but I kind of liked her, well maybe, I don't really know.
We had art together and I always found her easy talk to.
Anyway I'd heard she has thing with Zacky anyway, I can't believe that. I really can't picture them as couple.
I stepped out from between the lockers.
"Are you OK? " I asked sort of attempting to smile at her.
Her head snapped up and she glared at me while wiping tears from her face.
"Ha. What do you think!" she said and then turned away and walked down the corridor.
I stood there and wondered should I go after her.
While I was still deciding the door opened and Brian stepped out looking down the corridor.
"She's already gone." I said to him.
He looked over at me, "Just great" and shook his head "I'm getting sick of Matt and his shit you know".
I got that....we we're all getting sick of his shit, something really seemed to be bugging him lately.
"He's such an asshole." Brian said and then he walked off down the corridor in the direction Anastacia had gone.
And yeah I had to agree, Matt was an asshole.
"Shouldn't you be in class?" someone asked me gruffly.
I turned around and Mr Gray was standing there.
Shit I'd been busted...think quick.
"I had to stop at the bathroom Sir." I said "But I'm on my way now." and started walking down the corridor.
Great now I had to go to class.....wait...I had art....Lilah was there.
I walked a little faster.
