Things didn't get better in a week. They got worse. Jin had seen Namjoon in the halls, laughing with his friends.

They didn't sit together anymore. They didn't talk. They never even exchanged a glance.

And Jin had enough.

After school he cleaned out his locker, took everything to the student home and left it there before going to the river. It was such a beautiful day and the river was rushing especially fast as Jin looked down at it.

He was gonna do it. He was going to put an end to his life, now miserable because he had lost the one person he loved. He took a deep breath, and shut his eyes- but before he could move, a strong arm wrapped around his waist and yanked him back away from the river.

Jin gasped and fought against the arm. "Kim Seokjin quit being stupid." Namjoon growled.

Jin stopped moving, his breath caught in the back of his throat and he tensed up.

"Let me go." Jin snapped. "Let me go now!" He was near tears. Namjoon shook his head and grabbed Jin's hand, dragging him along.

"You're stupid." He hissed as He dragged Jin along.

Jin followed along silently. He had never heard Namjoon so angry in his life.

After a long walk, they arrived at the house JIn understood to be Namjoon's.

"Namjoon why are we here-"

Namjoon looked at him with a stern look on his face. He wasn't angry anymore, he was stressed.

"Keep your mouth shut. Don't say or do anything. And I'm begging you..." He held up their interlocked hands. "Don't let go." Jin nodded, his eyes wide. He hadn't seen Namjoon's parents since they had all moved to Seoul together.

Namjoon took a deep breath before opening the door and pulling Jin along.

Jin's heart was pounding in his chest. Something was wrong... really, really wrong. He knew Namjoon's parents, why wouldn't Namjoon want him to speak to them?

"Eomma, Appa!" Namjoon shouted. "Come here please." Jin and Namjoon stood in the living room waiting.

Nothing could have prepared Jin for the reaction to them holding hands.

Namjoon's father immediately began lecturing on how disgusting and wrong it was.

"He's my boyfriend." Namjoon spat when his father began to ask why Namjoon was holding Jin's hand.

"Kim Seokjin, the boy I've known since i was little, is my boyfriend."

Everything but a curse was laid on his head and he was deemed unwelcome in their house, a blemish on their family name. And finally we left.

Namjoon was tense as a pulled wire, staring straight ahead as Jin led him to his student house, where Jin decided that he would stay with him. It wasn't the time to ask why Namjoon had said they were boyfriends.

"Now you see why I acted like I did not know you Jin."

"Namjoon why did you not just tell me?" Jin asked as he unlocked the door and pushed it open.

"I was afraid that they would find out, so I had to separate myself from you."

"Find out what?" Jin asked, pausing and looking at Namjoon.

"That I love you."

"I love you too." Jin blurted out, seemingly flustered.

Namjoon cracked a small smile. "I know."
