It had been three days since Jin's disappearing incedent, and both boys had been more tense than usual, especially Jin. They bought him a new phone immediately and deactivated the previous one.

Jin had been hesitant to ever part from Namjoon for some reason unbeknownst to his boyfriend. At school they were rarely together as they had only one class together, but Namjoon checked on Jin whenever it was possible.

When the boys get in front of the school after classes, Namjoon noticed that Jin was shaking. He only had a moment to look at the boy as he walked closer, because he didn't stop in front of him. He walked straight into his embrace. Holding tightly to him.

"Take me home Namjoon. Please just take me home now." He sounded like he was close to tears and Namjoon heard the small crack as the words spilled from his lips. "I don't wanna come back here. Not tomorrow, not ever."

"Jin-"

"Just take me home and we can pack up all of our stuff and move."

"Jin-"

"You said we could take a trip to Busan, let's just move there and-"

"Kim Seokjin."

Jin bit his lip and squeezed his eyes shut as Namjoon pushed him away slightly so he could see his face.

His skin was as pale as snow and tears were rolling down his cheeks and falling from his chin.

"Baby, tell me what's wrong."

Jin quickly shook his head. "I can't- I can't, you don't understand! Please just take me away from here!" He begged.

Namjoon nodded and reached up, gently wiping the tears from under Jin's chocolate colored eyes, kissing his forehead before taking the thin, shaking hands in his own.

He led Jin home and they sat on the couch together for a little bit, cuddling. Every once in a while, Namjoon adjusted his position, causing Jin to flinch or tense or shiver, quickly tightening his grip on the younger until he heard his comforting words or he settled down again, rubbing his back or kissing his head.

----

Jin begged not to go to school the next day, so Namjoon agreed that he could stay home for just one day and he would go back tomorrow. So in the morning, Namjoon got ready, being quiet so Jin could sleep in, and place a gentle kiss on the sleeping boys lips before heading out the door.

He hated leaving Jin alone because he couldn't protect him here, but he knew that Jin needed time to rest.

----

Namjoon arrived home a little earlier than usual since he ran home. He was panting as he unlocked the door, but his breathing was cut off when he walked in and saw Jin.

Just like the day he had gone missing when he finally returned, he was sitting straight and stiff on the couch, hands folded neatly in his lap, head facing the wall, and his eyes locked straight forward. But this time was differed.

This time, his skin was whiter than Namjoon had ever seen it before. His thin arms had bruises of varying sizes all the way up to disappear under the short sleeves of his white t-shirt.

Blood had run down his chin form the corner of his mouth and his neck had a long, thin, raised, red line on it, as if there was a narrow cut.

"Jin-" Namjoon breathed, he went over to the boy and crouched in front of him.

But Jin never looked at him. He didn't acknowledge that Namjoon was even there.

"Baby what happened to you?"

No reply. His eyes were filled with fear, and sorrow.

"Are you ok?" Namjoon finally asked. But the reply was exactly the opposite of what he wanted.

The very first sign that Jin even knew or realized that Namjoon was there. Was a small shake of his head, met with even more eerie silence.
