"At this exact time five years ago, we were having our first dance as husband and wife."

The blonde squeezed her husband's hand, holding it up to her chest with a large smile on her face.

"One of the best four minutes of my life." Mike smiled back. He stopped walking and pulled her closer to him. "Let's recreate it."

"Here? No! We're in the middle of Franklin!" Carrie protested, laughing as she stood in front of her husband.

"Who cares?" Mike grinned, kissing her cheek. He pulled his phone out and began to play Love Never Fails.

"May I have this dance?" He held his hand out. Carrie shook her head, laughing as she took it. Mike snaked one arm around her waist and held her hand up with the other.

Love is not proud
Love does not boast
Love after all
Matters the most

"People are staring." Carrie giggled.

"Let them stare." He smiled. "I want everyone to know how much I love you."

"You're so mushy tonight!" Carrie hit his arm, still laughing.

"Only because I love you." He bent down and captured her lips. "So so much."

Love is the arms that are holding you
Love never fails you

"Let's go home." Carrie bit her lip, giving her husband a seductive smile.

Together, the couple walked back to their car hand in hand, laughing and reminiscing about the past five years of their marriage.

"Remember our first night together? The zipper on my dress got stuck and you couldn't get it off. And I didn't know how to undo your tie. We had no idea what we were doing, we were a mess." Carrie laughed, swinging their hands back and forth as they walked.

"That night was a disaster." Mike was now laughing too. "I'm glad we figured out what we were doing."

"Thank God." Carrie stepped into the car, letting Mike shut her door behind her.

Mike ran around and hopped into the drivers seat. He turned to his wife and smiled. "Ready to go home?"

"You know I am." Carrie placed her hand on his thigh and squeezed it tight. She raised her eyebrow, giving him the look that he knew all too well.

Mike pulled out of the parking lot and headed towards the interstate, listening to Carrie sing along to the music beside him. He watched her out of the corner of his eye, wondering how in the world he got so lucky.

"You're so cute." Mike smiled. "I love you so much."

Carrie blushed, scrunching her shoulders up and smiling.

"I love you t-"

Mike felt the car skid across the road and into the guardrail...
and then everything went black.
