Josh sighed and shifted uncomfortably in his seat, the handcuffs he was in now chaffing his wrists.
"Now sir can you tell us what you were doing in there?" The security officer asked and Josh rolled his eyes.
"It's just an old family remedy. Works every time I swear. Thought he'd be better with it than all the chemicals and medicine they're pumping into him." Josh lied expertly. He felt a twinge of guilt that he was getting better at lying, but he knew it was for the best.
The officer sighed and wrote things down in notebook before uncuffing Josh.
"Hospitals are a safe place Mr.Dun. They're doing the best they can. Now I'm going to have to escort you from the building, you're not allowed back for seventy-two hours. Are we clear?" The security officer said and Josh nodding, rubbing at his wrists. He'd have Debby come in and check on Tyler. It wouldn't be long now.

"Tyler is being moved to a normal room and then being released later this evening." Debby said reading the slip of paper that she'd stolen from the doctor's clipboard. They were at their home, the flower shop, Josh anxiously drumming his fingers against the edge of the counter. He had to keep the business running.
It'd been a week since Josh had forced Tyler to drink the mixture, and the redhead had been beside himself with anxiety. He didn't eat or sleep for the first two days until Josh got a report back that Tyler was rapidly improving.
"The doctors are calling it a miracle Josh. It worked." Debby said and smiled and Josh grinned back. "You're a miracle worker."
"Thanks Debs. Any news from your dad?" He asked and she shrugged.
"They agreed to just unevenly split the land. Your dad was getting tired of the bullshit and honestly I don't blame him." Debby sighed and rolled her eyes. "But everything's cool right now."
"That's amazing." Josh smiled and the bell to the flower shop rang, indicating a new customer. Debby and Josh got back to attending the shop, both counting down the minutes until tonight.

Josh swallowed nervously as they approached Tyler's hospital room. He now had visiting hours and Josh couldn't wait to see him. Now that he was in front of the door though, he started getting nervous.
What if Tyler hated him for changing him? How the hell was he going to go about telling him?
"Josh?" Debby said gently, getting him to look her in the eyes. "Breathe, it's gonna be okay." She reassured.
Josh inhaled slowly and exhaled as he turned the handle to go in the room.
"Babe?" Tyler said as soon as he saw Josh enter the room. Josh's heart melted as soon as he heart Tyler's soft voice.
