"My Princess! Welcome back!" Your dad envelopes you in a hug.
"Hey dad" you laugh lightly
"Let go David, your about to kill her" chuckles you mother
You hug your mum after your dad lets go. Mark just stood behind you awkwardly. Well, awkwardly until your brother comes downstairs and gives him a bro hug.

"Come on in and take a seat. Dinner is about to be served" said your mum after all the family greet you and Mark. You take a seat next to Mark and he holds your hand under the table.

You mother places the food on the table and you all dig in. You Mark have been dating for 4 years and you were visiting your parents with Mark. You were all busy talking when Mark asked your mother and father to go to the side and talk to them a bit.

They come back and everything was normal. You help your mum to clean the dishes. After that was done, you walk to the living room where your dad, boyfriend and brother were sitting down on the couch, watching TV.

You were about to sit next to Mark when he stood up and told you to stop. Confused, you still did what he said. He moves you to the middle of the living room.
"Mark what are you doing?" You ask

He gets down on one knee in front of you. Your hand flys to your mouth immediately. He pulls out a velvet box and opens it up, revealing a beautiful ring.
"Y/N. We have been together for 4 year. Not just any 4 years but the best 4 years of my life. I always imagined what it would be like to spend the rest of my life with you. But, I couldn't wait anymore. So Y/N, will you marry me?"

A happy tear slides down your cheek as you nod your head. He slips the ring on your finger as your parents and brother wooo and awe. He gets up and pulls you in for a passionate kiss.
