Transit (Peter Parker x Reader)

"I'm in love with thee, your beautiful clear pools like thy summers night-"
"Little more emotion in that, resume from that line!"

Flash, who was playing the prince in this year's student made fall/winter play was cut off by the student director, Martha Ernest.
Flash scoffed and continued.
"I'm in love with thee, your beautiful clear pools like thy summers night. Please. Run away with me princess." He continued, his voice still nearly bare of any emotion what-so-ever.

"My prince, my one true love. I would run away with you everyday if it means we were together." (Name) said, as the lead of the play. She preformed the lines clearly, convincing everyone with her smooth voice she was a princess.
She launched herself into his arms, pretending a hug (which was akward) and took his hand, running off stage left.
Right when they were out of sight she removed her hand from his and took her water bottle from the small table next to her and chugged some of it down.
"So, (name)." Flash began, looking at her and trying to look cool by leaving against the wall.
"Hmm?" She mumbled, concentrating on the dialogue outside waiting for their cue.
"I was wondering, if you would, you know, go to the diner around the corner with me this Friday?" He stumbled looking at the concentrated girl.
"Uh, maybe. Let me think about it." She said half heartedly, not paying attention to the boy.
"That's all for today! Sixth period lunch get going, everyone else stay here for a meeting." Martha yelled.
With that, (name) scooped up her scrip, bag and water bottle and left.

"God, I feel like death today." (Name) said to Michelle, sitting across from her and down the table from Peter Parker.
"You do? Everyone else here was partying last night, and you, sleeping away." She said laughing and adding,
"Or were you on a date with a secret boyfriend?" Michelle teased, (name) shook her head and sipped her sweet tea which she got from a vending machine right before. She also noticed Peter Parker look over surprised for a minute, then started talking to Ned again. He looked worn out and beat up.
"So what's new?" (Name) asked, biting her sandwich.
"Not much, think someone spiked the punch last night though. I only had a cup." Michelle said wincing and remembering the blur of sweaty teens and angry teachers from the night before.
"You scandal." (Name) teased, giggling a little and stealing a chip from her friend.
"So, what's new with you?" Michelle interugated.
"Oh, Flash asked me out again. I said maybe, but I'm not going to go if he asks again. He's your man after all." (Name) said winking. Michelle laughed a little and looked at the girl.
"You think he would realize you didn't like him the first seven times you didn't go." Michelle stated.
"Five times, and he's just a jerk. With what he does to everyone. A bully, that's the word." (Name) ranted.
"Oh! I almost forgot! I got a crisp twenty and was wondering of you wanna go to get some coffee after school?" Michelle said, making her fingers do the money motion.
"I can't, sorry Michelle. I think my grandma wants me home by four."
"That's fine, we have forever."

"Hey (name)." A small voice asked from behind the girl as she walked to her last class of the day.
"Hey-" (name) said hearing Liz's voice. She turned but stopped at the sight of the tear stained girl.
"Oh my- Liz! Are you alright?!" (Name) said running to the girl, concerned.
"Yeah. I um. I'm leaving." She said, her mom walking past you both with a box if Liz's locker books in her arms.
"Holy crap! Why?" The usually sweet girl said, covering her mouth surprised.
"I guess you didn't hear. You were always sweet, so that explains why you didn't hear the gossip. My dad uh, got in trouble and is in trial. So... I'm moving to Oregon. My mom says it's nice and has good schooling." Liz explained to (name).
"That's terrible." (Name) said hugging the tall girl.
"Well, I'll  video chat you." (Name added hugging Liz and looking 5o the clock.
"You should leave. I'll miss you. Bye (name)."
That was the last time (name) saw Liz.
