Forgiveness~ Httyd Dagur x reader (Sequel to Betrothed~)

(Before you ask no this is not a lemon! XD It will have implications and slight descriptions of one though, but only slight! Not like really detailed haha, anyway, enjoy the chapter!)

You arrived back at the Edge after a long day of hunting for Viggo's/Berk's gold. Night had already fallen, and you watched the sun set gently over the horizon. "Why don't you two stay here tonight? I mean Heather does already have her own make shift hut right? And Dagur could...uh..." Hiccup looked at you, blushing a little. You raised your eyebrow before realising what he was getting at. "If you want to, you could stay with me tonight..?" You trailed off, turning the same colour as Dagur's hair and looking away. You heard him chuckle and walk closer to you, taking your hand in his larger one. "I'd like that.." You flushed even redder than you thought was possible, but calmed down as the breeze made you shiver. It was only then that you noticed the sun had set completely, and it was a cold darkness surrounding you. "Well then, it's settled! Let's all go get something to eat before though, I'm starving!" Heather laughed as she pulled you out of Dagur's grasp and towards the clubhouse. You laughed and went along with her in agreement.

 "So you're leaving tomorrow to find your dad huh?" You asked her cheerfully as you walked up the stairs. "Yeah, but first Dagur and I are going to Berserker Island to get supplies. I think that'll most likely be our base of sorts!" She answered, looking a little worried. "Are you scared?" You asked her calmly, watching her face change multiple times. "Sort of...I guess its just the thought of meeting someone I haven't seen in years, and barely remember for that matter..." She giggled softly and looked at you, her eyes glinting mischievously. "So you and my brother huh?" Once again you flushed. "W-What about it??" You asked frantically. She laughed at your panicked expression. "Relax! I was just gonna say that he cares about you. He cares about you a lot..I mean to the point that I'd probably say it's maddening!" "I uh..I know..haha..he's been that way for years.." Heather looked utterly shocked. "Years?? As in like 4 or 5?!" You giggled and rubbed the back of your neck. "So even before we met he was..?" She looked at you quizically as Dagur, Hiccup and the others made their way into the clubhouse to sit around the table. "Yeah he was pretty insane over me! It was kind of attractive though I'm not gonna lie.." You chuckled to yourself, smiling as you looked to the side. "Well, I'm glad that he's in good hands. Really." Heather put her hand on your shoulder and beamed at you. You grinned back before beginning to eat with her.

Dagur smiled at your retreating figure before having Hiccup turn him to him. "Whats up brother?" He asked him. Hiccup looked at you and then back at Dagur. "I know..that after everything you did it was hard on (y/n) to forgive you..and that obviously must have been hard on you as well...but I'm glad that she's fallen for you instead of...someone like uh..Snotlout.." Dagur felt himself going a little yandere at just the thought of you being with anyone else but himself. He calmed down when Hiccup started walking with him after you and Heather. "Treat her right Dagur, ok? I'm trusting you to do that for me and especially her." He told Dagur sternly. Dagur smiled at Hiccup. "Trust me. I've loved her for years Hiccup. I'm not going to let anything or anyone hurt her. Including myself." They walked into the clubhouse to see you talking with Heather and laughing. 

After around half an hour, you had already finished eating. You were laughing at the Tuffnut arguing with Ruffnut over chicken when you were suddenly lifted up. You gasped in surprise "D-Dagur!". He gave a small cackle before holding you bridal style. "Well this has been a great day and evening, but I'm afraid (y/n) and I will have to retire early! Good night everyone!" He pridefully walked out of the clubhouse with you in his arms. 

When you got to your hut, Dagur hastily locked the door and was on top of you in a second. Your breath hitched as you looked up at him with widened eyes and rosy cheeks. He noticed your awkwardness and chuckled, brushing your hair off your face. "Are you sure you want to..uh...go all the way..? I mean we're not married yet and I wouldn't want you to be-" "Dagur.." "He looked at you as you sighed a little. "I'm sure..I'm not losing you again..and I want you to be my first and only.."  You told him before having him lifting your legs onto his armored hips. "You know, once we get past a certain point, I don't think there'll be any going back..I don't want you to start and then regret, so are you completely sure?" You began laughing a little. "Yes! I'm sure! Don't worry, I'm not going to regret it if it's with you.." You smiled, your eyes going a little half lidded. Dagur's eyes widened for a second and he gave a small smile. "Ok..that's just what I wanted to hear.."

Dagur was woken up by sunlight shining on your face, more specifically, on his eyelids. Groaning, he propped himself up on his elbows and looked around the room he was in. 'oh right, I stayed with...(y/n)...' Clothes and armor scattered the floor, completely discarded. The realization hit him when he looked down at the body lying next to him. There you were, sleeping soundly with a sort of glow around you. There you were, the girl he had been pining over for years, lying next to him completely naked. Events of the night before came flooding back to him before he could even touch you. Rolling hips, cries of ecstasy, hands in tousled hair, lips connecting every few seconds, hands travelling wherever he could reach, two bodies molding together in her warm bed. He couldn't help but stare at you in amazement. 

Soon enough you had woken up, due to Dagur's hands stroking your face and the sunlight lighting up the room. You groaned a little as you moved your legs, feeling an ache as you winced a little. "You ok?" Dagur asked, sounding a little worried. You gasped a little and looked at him from where you were lying. He was pretty much on top of you, with his arm wrapped around your waist. A blush rose up your cheeks as memories from last night came back to you as well. "Y-Yeah..I'm fine.." you mumbled, pulling the covers over you a little, a small grin growing. Dagur chuckled and kissed your forehead. "You know what?" "What?" "You have no idea how long I've been waiting to do that with you.." You blushed and chuckled as he rambled a little. "Dagur.." "Becaue I've literally been waiting years" "Dagur" "Like literally since I was 14-" "Dagur!" You laughed as he smirked, finally finishing talking. He kissed you softly, huddling the fur blankets around you, holding you tightly and kissing your neck as you laughed harder. He rested his forehead on yours as you calmed down, stroking your waist. "I love you (y/n)~" "I love you too Dagur~"
