Karma-kun came to school yesterday, which is the current gossip of the girls in class 3-E.

"Hey hey, Nagisa-kun. You two seems close."

Yep, girls' gossip.

"What's your relationship with him??"

And I don't even know why I'm here.

"Uh, everyone...calm down. We're only friends, okay?" I raised my hands up protectively as the girls' started to eye me suspiciously.

Huh? What's with that? Don't give me that look.

"Yeah right. Seems that he's very fond of you, though." Hinano said with a huff. The others nodded in unison and I sweat dropped.

"Like I said...we're friends. Isn't it normal for friends to be fond with each other?"

"Tsk tsk tsk. Such innocence, Nagisa. Such innocence." Rio shook her head in disapproval. I just knitted my eyebrows in confusion but almost jumped up when a pair of small hands slammed the table. Oh right, I'm currently sitting on my desk while the girls are standing around me. No, I'm not planning on making a harem, not with them.

"Tell me, Nagisa. Tell me." I looked up at Kayano who stares at me with her light brown eyes. She leaned her face more to inspect me more though, so I backed away a little.

"L-like I said..."

"Eh~? You girls bully my Nagi-chan?" A voice in singsong caused our heads turn to the left, to see the owner as Karma. He, who is currently smirking while his hands in his pants' pockets. He, who is mocking me. Very nice indeed, very nice. I must give him a praise for that.

"Yeah right. And guess what? It's because of you. Are you happy now?" I raised an eyebrow at him boredly with my head still leaned back and Kayano's face still inches away. I'm actually struggling not to blush.

"Aw...Nagi-chan talks about me? How sweet~" Karma grinned more, if that was even possible, and a full bucket of sarcasm mixed his teasing voice.

"I see then. You're very happy, indeed. So please stop with the smirk. You'll rip your face if you continue so."

"Nah, don't worry. My face is stretchable." Karma pointed out and tilted his head a bit then poked his own cheeks. Shhh. You hear that? That's the sound of girls blushing. You can hear them now, don't you know?

Nope, don't imagine his face doing that gesture. Red will be painted on your screen.

"I got it, I got it. Stop that now, you'll kill them." I told him as I faced forward, forgetting Kayano. And as a result, we almost kissed.

Kayano's eyes widened in surprise and stepped back immediately. I just blinked my eyes.

T-that was close.

"S-sorry Nagisa. I--" Kayano stuttered which made me chuckle. She's kinda cute when she blushes like that.

"It's fine, don't worry." I said with a smile while resting my chin on the back of my hand, elbow on the table. She just blushed more then looked away, pouting. Yep, really cute.

"Ahem, ahem. Um, excuse me guys. You still have companies, you know? Mind to let us join?" Yada fake coughed then smirked. Everyone just giggled except for one person. He looked...normal. Not frowning nor smirking. Not angry nor...happy. Though I know something's off. What's wrong?

"Karma-kun?" I called out on him, which was effective. He raised an eyebrow like asking 'what'.
"Are you okay? You seemed out of this world a while ago." I pointed out. His eyes widened for a second, though I now doubt it since it was too fast. He just shook his head then smiled.
