A Little Bit (Izuku x reader)

{Izuku's POV}
Y/n and I get to my house. My mom greets us at the door right away.
"Hey mom."
"Hi Izuku, who's your friend here? I've never seen her before."
"This is Y/n, Y/n this is my mom."
Y/n goes to say hello to my mom but she cuts her off by saying what she usually says, "just call me Inko."
She lets us go up to my room and then I realize I've made a huge mistake right before opening the door. I HAVE HERO MERCHANDISE EVERYWHERE. SHES GOING TO THINK IM SUCH A WEIRDO.
"U-um, I'm really sorry for a-all of this hero s-stuff, you probably think I'm odd."

{Y/N's POV}
As soon as Izuku says that I reassure him immediately.
"N-no! It's fine, everyone has their own interests and heroes happen to be yours..."
He seems to brighten up a bit after me saying that.
"So, based off of what Uraraka said you analyze things a lot?"
Izuku just nods his head. I see him pull out a notebook that looks a bit worn. He opens it up and starts flipping through the pages. As he does that I look out his window and see the sun slowly going down. I guess I've been here for awhile now. Time went so fast. I look back over at Izuku making tabs on all the pages that he might need to share. The longer I look at him the more I notice. For as cute as he looks he's extremely well built, he looks as solid as a rock. The sunlight coming through the window makes the muscles that you can see extremely toned, his neck looks so strong and through his shirt you can notice his arms a bit better. But I always go back to his eyes, his forest green eyes. I swear I get lost in them every time, they just hold a story with so much meaning behind them. I also love his freckles on his face and better yet his hair. Wait- hold on, I said love. Change that to REALLY LIKE. But anyway, for as wild as his hair is it just looks so...soft? I could just reach out and touch it. I now realize that one hand has cupped his face while the other touches his hair. I pull back immediately and start apologizing profusely being as red as I can possibly get.
"I-I, um, I'm so s-sorry! I didn't mean t-to, you know, grab y-your face a-and stuff!" Man, I'm so embarrassed, I just got so lost in thought I didn't notice.
"I think I've over-stayed my welcome...if you could just give me a summary tomorrow morning that would be great, thanks!" I say as I'm bolting out of his house and running home.

{Izuku's POV}
I touch my face on where she touched me. Her hands were so soft, and you could see how lost in thought she was. I don't even think she realized I had begun reading to her, she didn't even notice how hot my face felt! Man, she didn't know that I was staring at her though, she just looked so- so perfect. The sun caught her eyes and hair perfectly, she just looked so delicate in that moment. I also looked at her lips, I don't know why but they compelled me. They looked so plump and seemed like a piece of a puzzle. To what? I don't know. I just have to wonder what it would be like if- wait. No. I can't think that way. ME kissing someone so pretty like HER? Nononono, no way. She would hate me so much.....but maybe- AGH NO. I grab my All-Might pillow and scream into it, "I CANT BELIEVE WHAT I'VE DONE."
After my screaming in my pillow my face is as red as ever. "I-I-I can't believe I a-actually like LIKE Y-Y-Y/n!" I hear my mom come up to my door. "Izuku? Are you okay?" I reply with a yes and she goes back downstairs. What have I gotten myself into?

~time skip to next day~

{Y/N's POV}
I wake up and do the usual and I'm already off to school. On my walk there I start thinking about what my stupid actions might have caused. While being lost in though I hear loud thumping. It's getting slowly closer....don't be Izuku, don't be Izuku, don't be Izuku, don't be-
"Wait up Y-Y/n!"
Aaaaaaand it's Izuku......that is some terrible timing. I keep my same pace and pretend I don't hear him (thank the heavens for headphones). I eventually hear panting next to me and the boy taps my shoulder. So not being rude now I take out my headphones. "H-hi"  Izuku says with a smile that could kill me so easily. "Hey." I look at the ground trying to keep my blushing to a minimum or I'll give myself away. "So, um, I guess I'll s-start telling you more about the students?" I nod my head yes and say "go for it."
"A-alright, let's start with Tsu then..."
Izuku starts talking about Tsu and her frog quirk, he eventually gets more confidence as he describes each students quirk. I just walk and listen to him go on but asking questions every now and then. We finally get to school and Izuku has finished with the last student being Todoroki. "Hey Y/n, what's your quirk?" That's odd. He didn't stutter. I think he got more confidence after that long talk. "Is it alright I rather not say for now?" I'm the person you've basically gotta be best friends with for me to share personal information like that. I only shared wit Uraraka because at this rate she IS my best friend. "Oh, okay..." Izuku looks at the ground a bit uncomfortable now not knowing what to say. We walk into class and I head to my seat. I just sit there listening to music until the caterpillar man comes in.

~time skip until the end of the day~

"Hey Y/n!"
"Oh, Hi Uraraka. What's up?"
"Nothing much, I wanted to ask you if you wanted to spend the night over at my house this weekend!"
"Sure, you gotta let me get some stuff from my house though."
Uraraka and I walk to my house together and I let her inside because I don't want her to wait outside by herself. As I gather my stuff she calls her parents to let them know I'm coming over for the weekend.
"Alrighty! I'm all packed and ready to go."
"Yay! Let's go then!"
As we started walking Uraraka asked me what she called a 'silly question.'
"Y/n, is it okay to say you are my best friend now? I mean, I've already told you almost everything about me without hesitation. It may not seem this way but I usually don't open up within two days."
I look at her and give her my biggest smile yet.
"Uraraka of course we are best friends! I guess I could relate with the opening up part, I feel like you and I just connected so easily!"
"Yay! I definitely don't regret talking to you!"
Uraraka and I ended up chatting about what we were going to do the whole walk to her house. When we get there I meet her parents and I see why she is so bubbly and kind now. Since it's late getting to her house, we immediately get ready for bed. I help her set up a cot for me and she goes to grab some blankets and pillows. As soon as the lights are off Uraraka decides to say something. "Hey
Y/n, I know it's only your second day and all but is there anyone you like~~~?" I can just sense her eyebrows wiggling at me. "Hm, I'm not sure if i would say I have a full out crush yet, maybe just an interest..." stop lying to yourself damn it, you know you like Izuku.
"Oh~?" Uraraka says smugly. I don't like where this is going. I better ask her who she likes and quick. "How about you though Uraraka? You've been there a week longer than I have, do you like anybody?"
"Hm...I've gotta think about that one....actually there is someone I have a small-ish crush on...."
"Is that so? Care to share?"
"If you share yours after meeeee~"
"Deal."
Uraraka takes a breath.
"I liiiiiike..." I get up and moderately punch Uraraka's arm. "Oh get to the point!" This is killing me, I just might have to leave if she says Izuku. I won't be able to compete with my best friend.
"IIDA~!"
Man, I'm so relieved. I really thought she was going to say Izuku. It kinda looks like it because Izuku always seems to blush around her. DOES THAT MEAN THAT-
"Are you gonna tell me your 'interest' Y/n?"
"I forgot about that but yes, I'll tell you now...... I'm interested in-no wait, I like..........u-uh..." oh shoot I'm getting really red just thinking about him. "...I-I-Izuku..." I feel my heart rate increasing by the second, my face is as bright as a cherry by now, I'm probably glowing.
"YESSSSSSS! MY SHIIIIIP, IT CAN BECOME CANON!"
"Uraraka! Stop screaming, your parents are asleep still!"
"Sorry I just ship you two sO HArD~~~"
"Okay, okay, I get it. Let's go to sleep now."
She mumbles a grumpy "fine" and gets back into bed. We both tell each other goodnight and fall asleep quite quickly. Hopefully Uraraka doesn't tell anybody, including Izuku.
