A Little Bit (Izuku x reader)

{Izuku's POV}
I wake up and realize I'm in recovery girls room. As I'm looking around I see All Might and I notice my stuff is at the side of the bed. Y/n must have brought it.

"By chance do you know where the girl who dropped my stuff off went?"
"Actually kid, she just left. She left as soon as she dropped off your stuff."
"Yes, I think the girl was nervous in All Mights presence."
"Oh....."

I look down at my hands and see them healed, that's when All Might speaks up.

"Young Midoryia, I hate to ask you a question like this but the girl that just walked out, do you like her?"
"Of course I do! She's my friend after all"
"No Midoryia, I'm asking if you like her in a romantic sense."

I think about what he said and start blushing. Yes, I do like Y/n but what does that have to do with One For All?

"So I take that as a yes. I have to know because this girl can either inspire you to work harder or she'll be a distraction. If she turns out to be a distraction from your training you'll have to start avoiding her and I would hate to make you do that kiddo."
"I see..."

I again look back down at my hands and think about how All Might said she could be a distraction. I can't let her be a distraction! I would hate to grow apart from her, I'm afraid she'll think that I hate her or something! I personally can't lose someone I love. I think that would be a bigger distraction if she was mad with me.

"I'll just think of her to motivate me then!"

Oh crap. Did I say that aloud.

"A-ah, sorry about that...."
"Well kid you should probably get going and catch up to that girl alright? I can see that she is clearly special to you and you probably don't want to lose her."
"O-okay, thanks All Might. Thank you again recovery girl for healing me!"

I get up, grab my bag and start running home. Hopefully I'll catch up to Y/n. I see that she had barely gotten outside of the campus.

"H-Hold on Y/n!"

{Y/N's POV}
I hear the sound of the one I love most behind me. So if course, I stand and wait for him.

"Hey Izuku! How are you feeling?"
"Much b-better than before."
"Well I mean you did break multiple fingers..."
"Y-yeah......"

We walk in silence for a bit. I really want to ask about his quirk but I have this feeling he won't answer me honestly.

"So Izuku, I hate to ask this but what is your quirk?"

Izuku stops in his tracks then starts walking again.

"U-uh, I rather not answer?"
"Oh. Okay."

I had a feeling he would do that. I've gotten so close to him but I still feel like I know nothing. It kinda hurts me he can't tell me what his quirk is but I guess we all have secrets for a reason. I'm guessing it's because he doesn't trust me, but that's okay. I've only been here for a few days now.....

We get to a part where we would normally separate and go to our separate houses but Izuku walks with me to my house. As soon as we get there I stop in front of my home.

"So uh, thanks for walking me all the way home.....?"
"No p-problem."

We stand there again in silence. Why is today so awkward with him? This morning it was fine.....maybe was it because he was uncomfortable? Did I make him uncomfortable? Probably. I must've accidentally pushed him away by being super weird. I sigh.

"Do I even known you anymore?"
"W-what does that mean Y/n?"
"Oh, uh, nothing. I was just talking to myself, that's all. You should probably get home now. I'll see you tomorrow Izuku."
"......bye....."
