A Little Bit (Izuku x reader)

What To Do Now...

"Y/n....."

He said this in such a low voice it gave me goosebumps along with a shiver down my spine.

"I'm so confused, I got something from the song and the emotion you put into it. Yes, you sound beautiful but you almost spoke to me..... it's like you were asking for help but then telling me you were alright at the same time. The song gave me mixed emotions Y/n, and I just don't know how to feel....."

He's still in a trance and continues to hold me close. I hug him back and we just sit there. We sat there in a comfortable silence for about 15 minutes but again, he was still in a daze. Bakugo eventually comes in and finds us.

"I was able to clear the crowd so you could leave..... uh, what's with Deku? The idiot is still like that?"
"Yeah....."
"Also, why are you in his lap and why is he squeezing you to death?"
"I-I don't know.....but don't worry, I'm still comfortable"

Bakugo just sighs and takes me away from Izuku. We start there and wait for about 5 minutes then Izuku snaps out of it.

"....u-um, w-what happened t-to me?"
"You were in a stupid trance idiot. You made Y/n wait forever and you almost hugged her to death"
"O-oh..... I'm s-sorry Y/n.... I didn't mean to hurt you o-or make you uncomfortable...."
"No, it's fine Izu..."

I look at his face and he looks a bit sad and his face is a bit pink. He has an embarrassed smile and sad look on his face as he avoids eye contact.

"Well I've gotta go now Y/n let me know if Deku here keeps being weird and I'll come get you."
"Thanks but I don't think that'll happen Bakugo."

Bakugo leaves and waves at me. Izuku continues to avoid eye contact with me and sits there quietly.

"Come on Izu~ you can't avoid looking at me forever~"
"....."
"And plus, you and I still need to look around for a gift...for your- your crush"
"A-alright...."

I smile and we both get up and leave the karaoke place. I take him to a small jewelry store, it has super cheap jewelry and super expensive stuff like diamonds. What I like personally though is that you can customize the jewelry you purchase. They even do custom diamond jewelry, which is a bit surprising but I can see why. They manage to get the best diamonds and still get the item here within at least two weeks.

I look over at Izuku and he looks around the store in awe. His eyes almost seem to shine as he gets more excited.

"T-this is so cool Y/n!"
"I know right? Now, we need to find out what you wanna do for your crush. Necklace, bracelet, earrings, ring, you gotta tell me"
"U-uh, well what do you think?"
"Me? Well personally I would probably go for a bracelet in this situation. But if I were getting a gift for myself here I would go all out~! Meaning I would probably get a necklace and a set of earrings....but still!"
"S-so a bracelet then?"
"Yep!"

We look around the shop and Izuku looks at everything, including the diamond stuff. I first look at the diamond jewelry as he looks at the handmade glass and clay jewelry. As I window shop I see new customizing options. They have white gold and rose gold now.... they didn't before! I grab one of the order sheets and fill it out for myself. I then grab a second one incase Izuku needs one. I fill out mine.

The for fun custom necklace I made has a white gold chain and with a circle locket. The outside of the locket has f/c stained diamonds covering it. The inside has the a picture slot on the right. I wanted to but an engraving on the other side but I couldn't think of what.

I grab a third sheet due to me wanting to make another one. This one I make a little different....

Again, I choose the white gold option. I choose a white gold plate that can be designed a little bit for the dangling piece. This time I choose my favorite gemstone to line the plate and I want to engrave something again but I can't think of what...

As soon as I'm done Izuku walks up to me.

"I-I think I'm going to have to do a c-custom bracelet..."
"Ah, I see. I'll help you then!"

{Izuku's POV}
She pulls out a slip to fill out and I make us customize a random bracelet, the cheapest I can manage. I see two slips drop out of her pocket, so while she's not looking I pick them up. I look and see that she was going to custom order her own jewelry.... I guess I'll need these huh, but I'll add my own touches to them.

As soon as Y/n and I finish we look around the store again. While looking she goes to the diamond section and I follow. I watch her and then her eyes sparkle. She's looking at a simple set of diamond earrings that have white gold studs. Too bad I can't afford stuff like this, if I could I would shower her with diamonds.

"S-so Y/n, what are you looking at?"
"Oh, uh, nothing really. Just the jewelry- it um- reminded me of.......my family?"
"Sounds like y-your questioning yourself...heh"
"Oh quite Izu, I didn't think you were one to tease"

I laugh a little then check my phone for the time. Oh crap! I've gotta go to training! I'm going to be late! As soon as I'm done thinking that All Mights words come into my head......
This girl can either inspire you to work harder or she'll be a distraction.....
I've gotta organize myself, or All Might is going to consider her as a bad thing.

"Y-Y/n I'm sorry, I have to go......"
"Okay, but where are you going?"
"I'm sorry but I c-can't tell you that..."
"If that's the case then uh, I guess bye..."

I know it's just training but it's with All Might and I can't reveal him to Y/n. I can't even tell her about All For One.... I really do hate lying to her though. Her eyes show a bit of hurt every time she knows I'm keeping something from her... Maybe one day I'll be able to tell her the truth and she'll understand.

After my long run to the beach I see All Might in his scrawnier form. I'm panting really hard when I go up to him.

"Your late, and don't go thinking because you have one last tiny section of the beach to clean I'll let you off being late."
"I-I'm sorry All Might! I was carried away talking with a f-friend of mine"
"Young Midoryia, I really hope this girl isn't getting the best of you. If that's the case then-"
"I-it's alright! I- uh- wasn't with Y/n....."
"Whatever you say kid"

As he said those last words he squinted at me like if he knew I was lying. After clearing his suspicions he had me start training. Throughout training all I could think about was Y/n, and apparently by the end of the day All Might said I seemed to push harder than usual. Maybe Y/n will be a little bit of both for my training.

{Y/N's POV}
After Izuku left me in the shop I walk home. Too bad he has so much to hide from me, but I suppose I shouldn't complain now huh? He does like someone else and he probably plans on sharing with someone who he likes. Maybe he got tired of me though. I don't think I really helped him at all. He looked so bored in the shop even though I was trying so hard to help. I should probably just avoid him for a bit, I think I'm annoying him to where he can't stand me... no, I can't think that way. He did take me to karaoke and seemed to have fun. As I'm thinking of today's past events my phone goes off.

Bing~

It's a text..... what does it say? I open the message as soon as I got it. I see who it's from but it's one of the two unknown numbers.

?????: yesterday was 14, but I feel the need to make the wait shorter. A countdown from 10 will start today

Who is this person? I don't know if it's Izuku or Ida, but why would either one text me so strangely? Actually I think tomorrow I'll ask Uraraka how her relationship with Ida is going, I haven't texted her in awhile.....

AN: Hello people! I'm back with a chapter as you can see. I started losing ideas towards the end and the next chapter will probably be a bit smaller because it'll most likely be a filler chapter. Again, I have big plans for future chapters but it might take a bit. Like I said towards the beginning of my fanfic, I want this to be a longer fic, with longer chapters. I always find those to be the best fanfics out there. I don't want the story to be short and sweet, I WANT IT TO BE LONG AND AMAZING~~~ Either way, let me know if there is something that you don't understand because of mistakes in the chapter and I will try to fix it!
